Year 1669

In the eastern kingdom of Vulkaris, the land thick with the stench of dead and rotten. Dead trees, dried leaves, and the debris of the deceased housing the domain, making the kingdom an exemplar of abomination.

Volcanoes at distances spewed out the raging fire and smoke, which further darkening the already brooding sky.

Inside the courtroom of the towering castle, Raziel Devereux, the king of Vulkaris, lounged comfortably on his majestic throne. The damsels standing on either side of the throne nipped the grapes from their pedicel and fed them to his mouth. Raziel leisurely squeezed them between his molars, relished in the sweet and sour taste of the grapes.

The ministers of the courtroom exchanged helpless glances, looking at the bunch of parchments burning in the fire before their eyes, which were filled with people's grievances and dissatisfaction against the current ruler of Vulkaris.

Suddenly, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed in the corridor. In came the anxious head guard of the treasure room, followed by his subordinates.

"What?" Raziel snapped at them for disturbing his peaceful moment.

"Your majesty! The...the Phoenix relic is missing from the treasure room," the head guard informed.

Raziel frowned and followed the guards to the treasure room. The long white mustache above his lips trembled in anger when his eyes fell on his dearly loved silk loincloth, shattered to pieces and pinned to the wall behind the empty treasure chest.

"Who? Which bastard stole my egg?", his angry roar echoed throughout the room.
