Erin's eyes were blurry, and she was barely hanging on to her consciousness. She heard her name been called repeatedly until the voice kept dying down in her head.
Before she could register anything else, it seems like her brain could not take it anymore and she fainted.
"Erin, Erin!, why aren't you saying anything? What did you people do to her, Erin? " Arya yelled.
Crawling, her fingers were covered in dirty mixed with her own blood, her legs wobbled, feeling the pain that shot through her thighs.
"Erin!! " she yelped again, as she closed her eyes teardrops fell from her eyes.
Crawling to every possible end of the room in search of Erin, as she kept shouting, where was she?, finally getting close to Erin, Maggie kicked her body and had it rolling over to another direction.
And excruciating pain broke in the palms of her hand. The broken piece of the bottle, stabbed into both her palms. Her body fell helplessly on the ground, more bottle stabbing her flesh.
Arya winced in pain, trying to get up only made it worst as the thing entered even deeper. Her eyes were hurting. Never in her life had she felt even more hopeless. Cursed, yes she resented God and the heavens for always putting her in a tight space.
The one time Erin every desperately needed her, she could not provide help, instead she sat down on the floor blaming God for her predicament.
Mockingly looking at the girl, Maggie smiled, "Tie them up to a chair! I will come back tomorrow morning, and you dare not give them even a drop of water."
She then said to Arya, "let the pain sink into your bones, because this is just the beginning of your misery. I will torture you until you will wish death upon yourself."
Crawling as fast as possible to the voice, Arya caught hold of Maggie's foot, gripping onto it like her life line.
"Save her! please am begging you now, just save, don't let her die." Pressing her head against Maggie's legs.
"Let go of me, you witch, get her off me! "
The other man immediately came forward, tugging her by the hair so hard that she stumbled backwards, and a pain filled scream was torn from her lips.
"If I had asked you to beg, you would have done it in a heartbeat, and there would be no fun in it. And I knew she would be the stubborn one." Looking at Erin's hopeless body on the cold floor.
The grip of the man was firm on her hair, taking no chances of her crawling back. Her hands were on her hair, her eyes closed in the pain.
She muttered, "Please save her, I will beg you through eternity, anything I would do please just save, she will die if you don't. " Her tears sounded in her voice.
"Then she can die, and you will have to suffer for too." And she walked out.
Arya's plea kept on echoing, in repetition, "Save her, save her pleas-"
The man then pulled her head upwards and slapped her, putting an end to her beg. "Shut up!."
Night soon came, hiding every hideous act behind it.
The little dim light was blinding. Erin creased as she slowly opened her eyes.
She spent a long time trying to adjust her eyes to a more clear sight. Her body felt heavy, as she was tightly chained to a chair. She tried to move her hands, but she was bound to it.
"Mmmm… " she groaned, as she started up to the ceiling. This wasn't her room. Where was she?.
She slowly turn to the other side, and she was Arya in the same state as her, as her hair stuck to her face and her neck.
She looked at the room; her widened. They were still in this place, so it wasn't a dream.
The memories from morning before the night started to play in her mind and she froze, along with those memories brought the pain, and her brain reacted to it, and a sharp pain raised from the left side of her brain.
She immediately shut her eyes close, swallowing the pain down, and pain kept on stricking her head.
With her head down, as it was the only direction she could focus on because of the pain, she called out, "Arya,"
The faint sound of someone calling her name woke her up. She turned to the voice.
"Arya, are you okay? Did they do anything to you? " Still not looking at Arya, the pain was growing worse. At least the bleeding had stop. She would need to get to a hospital as soon as possible.
Arya said in a low voice, "Erin are okay." Almost crying.
"Mmm, Arya, but I don't know how long I will be able to hold on. We will need to escape. "
Arya's messy hair stuck out. "Escape. If they catch us, we are dead meat, and how are we going to get out of here without being spotted, and what about these?" Referring to the ropes in them.
Erin tightly shut her eyes close again. "Mmm, let's worry about one thing at a time. "
They had a better chance of survival, at least before the woman comes back for them. Their survival was at most important right now. With her head in the same position, she caught sigh of the broken bottles on the ground.
That was it, the bottles .They could use it to slice through the ropes freeing themselves. And the first step was how was she going to get the bottle without being heard.
Those men were nowhere in sight, if she could just nudge the chair to fall down, she could pick the bottle.
Taking deep breaths, she counted one to three, before shaking the chair down along with her, as it fell on the ground, making a loud thud.
Arya immediately turned to the noise, her body beating in fear of being caught. "Careful Erin." she whispered.
Taking up some time to pause, as everywhere became quiet again and there was still no sign of the men.
Since the chair fell sideways, the bottle were at her front, shifting and dragging the chair until her hands picked up a piece of the bottle.
Erin's heart was beating loudly, holding the glass firmly, she cut through the ropes as the glass also cut through her hands, making them soaked in blood.
Cutting the last rope binding them together, she freed her hands, feeling the burn in them. Quickly she pushed herself up, ignoring the pain.
Using the same method she freed her legs, by the time she freed Arya the. The men were still no show.
At the initial time, she looked for any exit, and the only one she found was the windows, that were nailed with a wood across it.
"What now, do you see the door? " Arya asked.
"Yes Arya, the windows" determination flashed in Erin's eyes, her heart filled with hope.
As she hobbled to the window to take a look through the hole, the outside was covered with thick bushes, and the high of the window to the ground was a jump.
Ripping a large portion of cloth from her shirt, she wrapped it around her wounded hands to act as a tourniquet.
Holding one of the wood against her hands, the use force as she tried to rip it apart, and like she thought it broke, as it was not tightly nailed.
Yanking Arya with her, they step to the window. She said to Arya.
"Just stand close, I will jump out first, then after that I will pull you along, okay? " To have Arya nod in response.
Taking a big limp, with her hands pressing on either side of the walls, she jumped out, and her legs failed her as she fell on the grass.
Standing up immediately, she took Arya's hands and placed them on her shoulders. After that, she curled her hands around her waist, supporting Arya's body. She pulled her over to the window.
Arya fell on top of Erin. The jump made her yelp in pain as she twisted her ankle on the same leg that was wounded. The next second, she felt the wind on her face.
But in the next second, they heard a loud grinding noise, and immediately they went on alert!
