Tangero was in a state of shock as he witnessed the ruthless display of power by Eizo. The library was now littered with the bodies of soldiers and civilians alike. He couldn't bring himself to think of a plan anymore. All he could do was stare at the carnage before him, his mind numb with disbelief and horror.
As he looked around, he saw the faces of those who had died, including Ana. The sight was too much for him to bear, and he felt tears welling up in his eyes. How could this have happened? How could Eizo have done this? These questions swirled in his mind, but he couldn't find any answers. All he knew was that he had to stop Eizo before he caused any more destruction.
Toni, a man known for his intelligence, was also horrified by the bloodshed in the library. He was begging Eizo to stop, insisting that he had the information he needed and there was no need to continue the violence.
But Eizo was unrelenting. He had a mission to complete and he would stop at nothing to see it through. He coldly replied to Toni, "I appreciate your concern, but I cannot let anyone stand in the way of our cause."
Tangero, still in shock, was unable to think of a plan to stop Eizo. The situation seemed hopeless, and he feared for his own life as well.
Eizo now spoke up, "To be honest, nothing really fantastic was in that vault. I just wanted to confirm if a replica plans of Earth-212 was there, and I found it."
Toni and Tangero exchanged a confused look. "What do you mean by a replica of Earth-212?" Toni asked.
Eizo grinned, "It's a long story, but let's just say that it's a key component in our mission to save Novartica from its inevitable downfall."
Tangero shook his head in disbelief, still reeling from the shock of the brutal killings that had just taken place. "I can't believe this is happening," he muttered.
Toni, on the other hand, was already formulating a plan in his head. "Eizo, listen to me. You don't have to do this. There are other ways to save Novartica, ways that don't involve killing innocent people."
But Eizo simply chuckled. "You don't understand, Toni. This is the only way. And now that I have what I need, it's time to move forward with our mission."
Eizo continued to speak, "Earth-212 was a nuclear reactor capable of powering the Nova1, a highly destructive nuclear weapon. The Sylvria government rejected its development, citing safety concerns and the potential for catastrophic consequences. However, I believe that the Nova1 could be the key to our victory in the ongoing war against our enemies."
Toni's eyes widened in horror as he realized the magnitude of what Eizo was saying. "You can't be serious," he said, his voice shaking. "If the Nova1 is as powerful as you say it is, it could lead to the destruction of our entire planet."
Eizo smirked. "That's where you're wrong, Toni. With the Nova1 in our possession, we can use it as a bargaining chip in negotiations with our enemies. We can ensure our own safety and the safety of our people."
Tangero couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had always looked up to (kaizo) eizo as a great leader, but now he saw him as a power-hungry tyrant willing to risk the lives of millions for his own gain.
Eizo continued, "And now that I have the replica of Earth-212, I can ensure that the Nova1 will be fully operational. The Sylvria government kept this file in the vault with the intention of shredding it. But luckily for us, I was able to get my hands on it."
Toni looked defeated as he realized there was no reasoning with Eizo. "What now?" he asked, knowing that the situation had gone far beyond their control.
"We move forward," Eizo replied, a glint in his eye. "And we prepare for the inevitable battle that lies ahead."
Gero and Tana were sitting in their living room when they saw the breaking news on the television. Their hearts sank as they saw the images of the military base in Angisa under attack. They knew that their son, Tangero, was stationed there, and they feared the worst.
Tana couldn't hold back her tears as she watched the chaos unfold on the screen. Gero tried to comfort her, but he was also visibly shaken. They had always been proud of Tangero for following in his uncle's footsteps and joining the military, but now they were filled with regret and worry.
As the hours passed, they waited anxiously for any news about their son and Tana's brother, General Toni. They tried calling Tangero's phone, but it went straight to voicemail. They knew that communication would be limited during an attack, but the silence was unbearable.
Gero and Tana prayed that their loved ones were safe, but deep down, they feared the worst. They could only hope that Tangero and Toni were able to defend themselves and survive the attack.
As Toni was trying to reason with Eizo about his plan, he stated that it was sure to fail because other nations would also build their own nuclear weapons, especially Slyvira. He explained that the only way to prevent a nuclear war was through diplomacy and cooperation between nations.
Eizo, however, scoffed at Toni's suggestion, stating that diplomacy was a weakness and that power was the only thing that mattered in the world. He believed that by possessing the Nova1, he could establish Novartica as the dominant superpower and ensure its survival in a dangerous and unpredictable world.
