'We're getting married love'
His words repeated in my ear over and over again.
"Now?!" I couldn't help the surprise in my voice, he really wants to marry me?
Me?!
"Of course. You said we had to get married today, I'm only keeping my end of the bargain. Besides, this is the only day I have time to spare in the entire month, it can only be today" he says with a firm tone as we pull up in front of a large building.
"Fine. I hope you remember what I said the day I told you about all of this?" I ask him and he nods.
Suddenly, I'm pulled back to the time we made the agreement to get married.
*Flashback*
"Umm....when I said I'll be marrying Taylor, I didn't mean later, the wedding is in three days" I say and I closed my eyes, internally praying and begging for him not to change his mind.
"So what you're saying now in summary, is that I have to marry you in three days or you'll be married off to your longtime nemesis who may or may not be planning to kill you, and all of this was ordered by your mother?"
"More or less"
"Okay" he says and i snapped my eyes upwards to stare at him
"Okay as in, okay you're not changing your mind?" I ask again to be sure I heard right.
"Yeah...okay, but I have a question"
"What is it?"
"What exactly do I gain from all of this?" He asks.
"A super hot wife?"
"Try harder"
"A super hot wife and shares in my dad's company?"
"I own a multi billion dollar company, I don't think the shares in your father's company would be enough reason to marry a stranger"
"Did you forget the super hot wife part?" I ask, my lips forming into a pout.
"Well, you ARE hot but I'm going to be going through quite a lot of trouble if I'll be marrying you, there's your father, my mother and I'll also have to be facing that nemesis of yours at some point"
"You have a point. Honestly, I don't have anything to offer you but I promise to give you anything and everything I own whenever you want it"
"Anything?"
"Anything...that is, if you do agree to help me eventually" I say more firmly this time, we should really stop this habit of repeating each other's words before it turns into a 'thing'.
