Zach continues to stare straight ahead and kept patting the sleeping baby in his arms. I say nothing either and choose to stare out the window instead as I watched the houses go by.
We soon arrive in front of a black gate which pulls open and we drive into the property behind it. To say I'm in awe would be an understatement, this house is so beautiful that I can feel my eyes water...but I don't let it show, I just sit tight and wait for the car to come to a stop.
The car stops at the doorstep and Zach pulls the door open, stepping out and he holds the door for me.
"Follow me" he says and walks into the house with the baby still sleeping in his arms. I say nothing but I follow him into the house, we walk past the sitting room and kitchen and i don't even have the time to ogle it's beauty cause Zach kept walking and I had no choice but to follow, my rage growing in size the more minutes that pass by.
We climbed up the stairs and it leads into a hallway, just like my grandpa's place. I'm surprised there aren't any maids in this house, with it's size, there should be about one hundred people cleaning the place everyday for it to look this shiny. But we don't run into anybody, the hallway seems longer than the one at my grandpa's mansion though cause we've been walking for like 3 hours....or at least it felt like three hours, in reality it was probably about one minute. We came to a stop in front of two doors. The one on the right was painted a bright pink color and the one on the left was black.
"I know you have questions, and I know you're angry, I'll answer everything later. You can change in there, I'll be back in a few minutes" He says pointing towards the black door and he opens the pink one which I'm sure belongs to his daughter. I catch a glimpse of a little bed cradled in the corner with fairy lights blinking around the room. With a sigh I pull the black door open.
I don't know what I was expecting exactly but it wasn't this.
