*Zach's POV*
I stare at the woman beside me, there might have been an esscessive use of make up on her face, but she is beautiful. The wedding dress made her walk in a funny way and her chest area was tightened by the dress, showing more cleaverage than necessary, she obviously didn't get to choose anything for the wedding.
"Why did you decide to marry me? You could have just asked me to invest in your dad's company, why did you choose marriage instead?" I've been curious about this since she suggested we get married.
"Why are you asking this now?" She asks with furrowed brows.
"I didn't get to ask you when we talked three days ago and we'll be getting married in a few minutes, shouldn't I know the reason why I'm marrying you?"
"Well....if you had invested in the company, it wouldn't have made a difference, I'll still have to marry Taylor cause my mother would definitely still want to go through with the marriage plan.
Marrying you guarantees that I can escape my mother's plans, then I'll be able to go back and support my dad's business and I'll also have an opportunity to get back at the Wright family in the future" She says with a smile, an unfamiliar glint in her eyes.
"Okay then. Why do you and Taylor hate each other so much?" I ask again.
I was really curious about this lady, every action of hers was amusing and she attracted me to her. She purses her lips, seemingly unwilling to tell me but then she sighs and stares at me.
"Taylor and I have known each other since kindergarten, I know it's wierd but we used to be friends. Then we got to middle school and he suddenly became the school meanie, he'd bully other kids and because I always stuck by his side everyone assumed I was just as bad. I didn't have any friends cause of him.
When we got to high school his actions became worse and more brutal, he'd sent dozens of kids to the nurse's office and some even ended up in the hospital, the school couldn't do anything about it either....I just couldn't take it anymore, and so I started keeping my distance. Taylor noticed and confronted me....things got pretty messy, you can know what happened from there on" she says and leans against the chair.
"Do you miss him?" I don't know why I ask this but I couldn't hold back my curiosity.
"I don't know, I don't really remember what happened before we became each other's nemesis, all I have left of those times are the pictures in my room, so no, I don't think I miss him" She replies honestly, her demeanor relaxed as she stared at the buildings we drove past.
"Where are we going?" She asks, her honey brown eyes staring at me.
"Where do you think?"
"I don't know, you own the car" she says matter-of-factly with a nonchalant shrug.
"Well then you better get ready....we're getting married love"
