After we finished eating, we both entered the Dungeons. I chose the Normal Difficulty for now, I wanted to build up my strength before rushing into Hard difficulty, after all it was my life I would be gambling. I brought a book with me, it was about footwork for martial arts so I spent my time practicing those movements.
I had found that the Shop sold more items than what was shown, if you used the search function. I found these books on footwork that didn't require mana, and they wouldn't instantly teach me the technique, I would have to learn the old fashioned way.
It was, in the end, just an excuse to use [Study Session]. I began walking while practicing the movements. The book I had bought was titled [Silent Steps], it was a ninjutsu technique, that focused on eliminating the sounds you make while walking. It seemed to be useful, so I began studying. The principle behind it seemed rooted in practiced motions, and a unique concept of utilizing forward momentum to cancel downward momentum. Minimizing the sound you would create by stepping, and also propelling yourself forward at greater speeds.

[Silent Steps (Grey) has been obtained.]
[Study Session has awarded you with 0.1 Intellect.]
[Accumulate Luck has leveled up to Level 2. You may now obtain (Purple) items.]
[Succubus's Ring of Magic (Purple) has been obtained.]
[Congratulations on getting an item of (Purple) tier for the first time! As a reward you have been awarded with a Guild Certificate!]
What is this?
[Guild Certificate]
Allows a user to establish a Guild. The user must be at least Level 10, and pay 1,000,000 gold to establish a Level 1 Guild. A minimum of five users are needed to create a Guild.
A Guild? It seems I am being pushed to be a part of a group no matter what. It'll be fine since I'll meet Hunters within the next few days. I then inspected the (Purple) gear I found.
[Succubus's Ring of Magic (Purple).]
This Ring is imbued with the rare magic of the Succubi. +1 to Charm. +1 to Intellect. Once a day the user may cast [Charm] on someone, will only work if the users Charm is higher than the target's.
Interesting, it was weird that my Charm stat was now my second highest stat for some reason, but the spell seemed like it could come in handy. As I came out of the dungeon, I took a moment to see how much the ring would sell for if I were to list it in the Shop.
[Succubus's Ring of Magic (Purple)][70,000 gold.]
70,000 was real big, but I could see why. Two whole stat points, along with a spell that anyone could cast once a day. It would be welcome to any spellcaster's arsenal. I debated on selling the ring, however I came to the conclusion that money would always come in. I could now continue to get (Purple) items with my skills and talent.
I decided to save some money to get a new defensive skill. I was looking at a few that were interesting, but nothing really stood out. As I was looking at the shop, Hailey came out of the Dungeon. She smiled at me, before going into another Dungeon.
I smiled, and entered a dungeon again.
I couldn't fall behind when she was working so hard.
**** Hailey's POV ****
Ever since I bought the [Berserk] skill from the Shop, I was no longer having trouble with the wolves. I easily tore through them, however my speed was lacking and I was still getting hurt a lot. I was trying to think of how to solve my issue with my speed, when I had fortunately gotten a pair of [Wooden Samurai Sandals (Green)]. They increased her Agility by 0.5, and she felt really comfortable in them.
She had been saving the gold she was gaining to buy a new axe Blueprint she saw in the Shop. She was going to ask Theodore for gold, but she didn't want to put him in any situation where he felt uncomfortable, so she was just waiting until she had enough. The deals she did with Theodore were definitely what netted her the most profit however, since he was getting so many (Blue) items. It would have pained her to Dismantle the items if it weren't for the fact they were almost all useless to her. Theodore always gave her items that would match her skills, so she couldn't ask for anything more.
As she was walking through the forest, a wolf pounced at her side, from the bushes. It latched onto her arm, however it's fangs could barely break her skin. She simply grabbed the wolf by the throat, and crushed its windpipe.
"I almost forgot I was in a dungeon. I better take it seriously, I don't want to make Theodore worry again..." with that, her bloodlust began to spread out. The wolves who were tailing her backed away, regrouping with their alpha in fear that they would not be enough to eliminate this girl.
**** Theodore's POV ****
[Congratulations on reaching Personal Level 3!]
[Congratulations on reaching Personal Level 4!]
[Congratulations on reaching Personal Level 5!]
[Class is being unlocked!]
[Choose one:
Novice Swordsman
Novice Arms Master
Novice Mage
Novice Shield Bearer]
I chose to be a Novice Mage. The reason being: I wasn't really a swordsman. I only wanted the one skill, and it scaled with my Intellect. I would be much better off gaining skills that directly scaled with my Intellect. Besides, I was pretty confident there would be branches of the class that empowered their weapons. I can always buy the skills too, if needed.
[Class has been changed to Novice Mage.]
[Snap Freeze (Blue) has been obtained.]
[Ice Block (Blue) has been obtained.]
[Ice Magic (Blue)(Evolving)(Passive) has been obtained.]
