"Is there a Theodore Holton here?"
"I am, why?"
"Phone for you."
'Phone for me? Who would know my name along with where I was...'
Theodore was currently at a pub, and he had been hiding his identity for a few months now. He was sure there wasn't anyone from his past who knew his name, so this could only be someone who knew him as a Hunter. He quietly picked up the phone, and breathed slowly.
"Who is this?" I asked. He was being hyper vigilant, spreading his mana around the entire pub to sense for any attacks.
"An ally, don't worry about that, what I would worry about is the Angel death squad that is heading your way. Six of them." the voice said over the phone. I didn't know who they were, but if there was an attack headed here, I had to leave. I didn't want innocent people getting caught up, and potentially killed, because of me. I had originally come here with a few neighbors, but as I walked towards the door I bid them farewell. Saying I wasn't feeling good and was on my way home.
I hurried into an alley, and then began sprinting away. Over the past few months, I had raised all of my stats to 5, while increasing my Intellect and Agility with items. I was now running at over 50 MPH, zipping through dark alleys, and running as much while not being seen. I was running to a nearby forest.
I then noticed six people begin to catch up to me. I saw them in the distance behind me, but I knew that it would only be a matter of time before they caught up to me. They were Hunters with the Assassin class, boasting an incredibly high Agility stat paired with deadly poisons, they were a nightmare to face alone. They fought in a similar fashion to wolves hunting. They would surround you, and slowly wittle you down. The moment one of their poisons entered your body, they waited. Waited for you to let your guard down, and then they would swarm you, stabbing you to death.
Once I arrived at the forest, I began running in a very specific pattern. At first the assassins thought I was trying to throw them off my trail, however they soon realized that wasn't the case.
*BOOM*
An Assassin had tripped a wire, that activated a magic bomb, blowing himself up into pieces. The other assassins then focused more on following me very carefully, however Theodore wouldn't take this lying down. At that moment, a sword came from behind a tree nearby that pierced the hearts of one of the assassins.
"GO! I'll hold back his sword, he is defenseless!" one of the assassins shouted. He had turned and held the sword inside his dead ally's body.
The last three nodded, before turning to run, however it was at that moment.
*Swish*
*Squelch*
A second sword slashed into the body of the Assassin who stayed behind. Two swords then rose into the air, before pointing in the direction the pursuers ran, and shooting forward like arrows from a bow. The swords caught up to the assassins within minutes, and cut two assassins down. The final one tried to turn around and run away as his allies died, however as he ran back the way he came, a small hand grabbed his head.
"Stop struggling, you will ruin my nails." Hailey stepped out from behind the tree, holding the assassin by the head. "Theodore, why didn't you grab him when he walked by you?"
Theodore then materialized from a shadow by a tree.
"I thought you ought to gain something since you came out on such short notice." Theodore said, shrugging his shoulders.
"They aren't worth much though, so it doesn't really feel like it was worth it. Besides, I was just getting ready to go into a dungeon, so I was already dressed." Hailey said. She was dragging the man at this point. He had tried clawing at her hands with his nails, but he was unable to leave more than small white marks on her skin. Hailey's resistance and Regeneration had grown to a level where only sharp weapons would be able to cut her.
Theodore walked over and snapped the man's wrists.
*Stop scratching her." He said calmly.
Theodore then reached out to his bound swords.

"Let's go inside, I'm hungry." Hailey said, walking towards a large mansion in distance.
"Haha, okay, I'll make you something." Theodore replied, looking affectionately at Hailey's departing figure, before following her.
