I stopped at the bar that I have dinner earlier. "Sorry, we're about to close." I took a deep breath and sits on the barstool.
I took a deep breath and exhale it slowly through my mouth, "I need a place where I can stay for tonight." She chuckled and put a glass of water in front of me.
"Looks like you already tired. You want to go somewhere?" She asked as she wiped the table.
I leaned my back to the pole and nodding my head. Tonight was different. It's my first time to interact with people besides my fans, staff, and her. "Do you know where…"
"Y-you can… stay until morning in my room." I put my backpack next to me and stared at liquors on the shelf.
I need to saving money if I want to survive. Maybe I should stay for weeks or a month before proceeding to the next destination? I sighed and drink the water, then I put it upside-down. "Do you have a spare room that I can rent?"
Why I did not check on Airbnb? Argh… stupid me. "You can rent a room at the Harold's Motel." I raised my eyebrow. A motel? Where? Maybe I can stay at the motel.
I should buy a map for this town. "Do you have a map of this town?" I asked.
She laughed. I raised my eyebrow while stared at her. What she laughing at? Is that funny or some kind of joke in this town? "Hahaha… you same as the tourist here," she put a piece of paper that contains an address. "Tomorrow, you can visit the mayor at that address. He will become your tour guide in this city."
I furrowed my brow and stared at the address. "Thank…" my words cut by an appearance of a man wearing a light-brown leather jacket, a grey shirt, jeans, and boots. His shoulder and head were wet.
"Who the fuck are you?" He observed me from head to toe.
"Jason… stop. She just a tourist." The man called Jason pushed her slowly. I cleared my throat and try my best to not punched his face. "Jason…" she called him twice, but the man in front of me won't listen.
"If you dare to get close to my sister, I will kill you! I don't care if you are a tourist or not!"
"It was rainy, Mr. Jason. I came here just waiting for the rain to stop." He keeps staring at me. It's not fair. I only knew his first name. "My apologize if I mention your… first name, I don't…"
"McKinley. Jason McKinley. This girl who served as the bartender here is my sister! Rose McKinley." A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. "Don't you dare to flirt her!"
I rubbed my face and tried my best to hold my anger. "I'm not, but it seems you are too protective of your sister. You already make her uncomfortable."
Jason's hand gripped tight and glared at me. "Jason, stop! Or I call a sheriff to come here?!" Jason left us and slammed the door.
Grab my motorbike's key and backpack, but she holds my hand and prompting me to leave. "It's fine. I take my leave." I said as polite as possible.
I let go of her hand and smiled. I stroke her hair. "Once again, I'm sorry about that."
I nodding my head and take a deep breath. "It's nice to meet you."
"N-nice to meet you too."
She's cute, but her brother. He stared at me while crossing his hand. Don't pick a fight with a local. It will make everything worse.
I ignoring his stare and go to searching a motel nearby. Fortunately, I already coated it with aerogel.

I arrived at Rockenesse past midnight. I met a sibling.
Their name was Jason and Rose McKinley. First impression from her brother made me sure something was wrong with her. I saw bruises from her hands, a scratch, and another wounds. On the other side, I don't want to have trouble with the locals here.
Irene and Henry came to my room and threatened to reveal my whereabout. They will come back 10 days later to hear my answer. From now on, I wouldn't post it on my Instagram.
Diary Entries #102
Julia Harianto
————————————————————————————————————————————
I took a deep breath as I closed my book and looked at the picture that I took several minutes ago in the lobby. I slip it inside the second page of my books.
I like to write diaries and my therapist also recommends it for me. I should search for another income to get money as long as I'm staying here.
*knock.. knock.. knock…
"Ms. Harianto? Are you already asleep?"
I stood up and opened the door for the receptionist. "Yes?" I saw a woman behind him.
"This woman said that she's your girlfriend. Do you want to…."
I nodding my head and forced a smile. No wonder killing was illegal. I took a deep breath and let her get inside from my room.
"I don't know what you were thinking, Julia. While in the city, you were gone missing. All the tv stations, newspaper, blog article, put a headline about your disappearance followed by your publisher's stock market goes down."
I closed the door, then lean my back on. I don't want to say anything about it. "Let's get to the point, okay? I want to get back to sleep."
Irene embrace me and kissed my cheek. "I can tell all over the world your whereabout unless…" She unbuttoned my shirt and lift my head. She wears her red dress and red lipstick covered with a white fur jacket. "You withdraw your words earlier."
What?! I closed my eyes and gripped tight my hand. I followed her gesture. Her heals echoing inside this room and it chills me out.
She picked my diary. "I will comeback 10 days later. I have a job overseas."
She picked my phone and unlocked it. "Don't…" My words stopped because Henry gets with his eyes narrowed.
"What the fuck you were thinking, Julia?!" I took a deep breath and cleared my throat. Henry complaint to me because he's got fired. Now, it's my fault. "Did you know how difficult to find a job these days?!"
I regret to let her in. "Listen, Henry. It's not my fault. All I asked is a fucking day off! It's not as difficult as you looking for a job, right?!"
Henry punched me and stepped in my hand. He squad in front of my face. "Henry," Irene called him. Both of them were a devil. "Let's get out of here. I have a schedule tomorrow."
Henry and Irene left me with a bruise. I stared at the ceiling and laughed while I cried. I don't know I should describe this feeling.
