Jaxon walked through a long corridor, eventually entering a door and then a small doctor's room.
A lady stepped through the door, wearing a tight-fitting black robe.
Her greying hair was kept in a neat bun, and thin white glasses covered her eyes.
"What happened here, Jaxon?"
Jaxon strode over to the big vacant bed and set the passed-out Salvador down. "Premature awakening. From Brance's Will."
The lady's eyes widened for a second until she eventually settled down. "I see... You know what this means, right?"
Jaxon only nodded in response, then shook his head. "We'll have to make up a cover story, this can't be released to the higher-ups or public.
The lady quickly nodded and exited the room.
"W-Will he be okay?" Niko questioned in a quiet brittle voice.
Jaxon peeked back at his nephew's step-brothers.
"Yeah. It's not bad as you think, he'll be fine within a few weeks."
William and Nico released sighs of relief as Jaxon told them about their little brother's condition. "What will you do?" Nico shakily asked.
Jaxon paused for a second and stared at the sleeping Salvador. "I'll train him. I don't know when, but eventually, It'll come out that he is the son of Lance L-"
Before he could finish speaking, a small metallic ball with fluttering wings popped out from Salvador's head. "W-What the fuck!" Nico yelled out.
Jaxon sighed in frustration. "Couldn't you have waited for them to leave to do that?" Jaxon asked as he rubbed the upper bridge of his nose. "Sorry, but I gotta do it fast."
Isora flew into Jaxon's head which caused him to freeze for a few minutes. Suddenly, he jerked back to life and started exhaling deep breaths. His face lost some of its color and a few drops of sweat streamed down from his hairline. "He really is like Lance..." He mumbled as his lips curled.
A few seconds later, the same old lady walked through the door she left from. "It's done." She said to Jaxon.
"Thank you." Jaxon meekly replied. The two exchanged smiles and the lady disappeared behind the door again.
He turned to the two boys, "Go to the Orzorc Hotel in Three days, your family included. Precisely at noon. We'll have to talk there.
Stay here until he wakes up, once he does leave immediately. You can't stay.
"B-but my-"
Jaxon reached his hand out and stopped Nico from speaking. "I know, I'll have you automatically placed into Third Force, although with the speed you displayed, I might have you placed into Fourth and train you in other categories."
Nico was shocked for a second, he couldn't even fathom training under such a powerful figure. "Why are you doing this?"
"Because, you are my nephew's family, even if it's you guys are only his adopted family. You still raised him, and I shall repay you for that." He seriously said.
Jaxon took family matters exceedingly seriously, and training Nico would not be a problem. If Jaxon could make him harness that same speed he displayed a few minutes ago, he was sure to be promoted to a Fourth Force Knight. And if he was a talent... Possibly even Fifth Force Knight.
"I see... Thank you."
Jaxon shook his head. "Don't have to thank me. But make sure he gets to rest and doesn't do anything stupid again." He said with a chuckle.
The other two forced a laugh as they attended to their brother. "I have to go as I will inevitably be called. Don't forget where I said to meet."
The two brothers nodded and Jaxon disappeared out the back door.
"So much as happened... It's crazy." Nico muttered under his breath.
William quietly agreed. "So he really is the son of Lance... How funny." He said with a chuckle, a small tear falling from his eye.
A few hours later, Salvador awoke in an extreme fit of aches and pains.
"Ahh..." He let out a groan as he attempted to sit up.
"Don't," Nico called out to him.
Following his brother, he laid back down which felt incomparably better than sitting up. "You awakened at three years old you little freak of nature. I guess you really are Lance's son." He slowly said.
"Why didn't you tell me at the house?" He curiously asked in a breathy voice, pushing through the pain that ravaged his body.
"You really think we would tell you?" He said with a chuckle.
"I guess you're right."
Nico sighed. "Jaxon, your biological uncle came by. He told us the truth, and that we need to meet him at the Orzorc hotel in three days at noon."
Salvador stared into the white ceiling for a second, seemingly accepting everything that happened.
But in reality- he was messing around with his new system.
'Two stat points, hm?'
He peered at his stats and seemed to be deep in thought. 'I'd be a strong ass three-year-old...'
He deviously thought.
Unfortunately, the system wasn't on his side; yet.
'No, the EXP and quests you'll earn will be extremely limited. Of course, you'll be stronger than most kids your age; physically speaking. In terms of magically, you're stronger than most 12 and 13-year-olds already.'
He nodded in satisfaction at her words. Strength was absolute, and so far it seemed like he had it; currently at least.
'Well, should I just keep these stat points for the meantime?' He hesitantly asked. Sure, he did play RPGs and games like this back when he was a kid, but there wasn't a scenario where he was a three-year-old.
'I think that would be the best decision, as you grow your stats will naturally develop, you knew that already.' Salvador confirmed.
'Are there skills or other ways to use the stat points?'
Isora mentally nodded.
'To upgrade your Affinities, yes. Although, unlike stat points, they cost way more. But those are just with stat points, there are designated points for upgrading skills.'
He let out a long sigh after hearing those words. If he had to sacrifice stat points to upgrade his skills, the losses would be immense.
"That's exciting, kinda," Salvador answered.
Nico picked Salvador up and walked out the door Jaxon told him to. "We got to get back, Mom and Dad are probably scared out of their minds."
The two shared a laugh and headed back to their rooms.
