The pain was exceedingly too much to bare.
My eyes rolled back and I fell over; limp on the floor. My breathing grew shallow and the illumination from the sword dimmed down again.
The outside was normal again but the inside was a different story.
My organs squirmed and were pulsing, and my innards and body as a whole seemed to grow a few years in just a few seconds.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" The pain was too much to bear- how am I even conscious?
The sinister black tendrils of mana forced my mana core shut after the angelic and powerful white mana seeped into my body then my mana core.
Compared to before, my mana core was pure beauty. It was a pure radiating white, so bright it even radiated beams of light inside my body.
As I looked down, I realized my pants and shirt ripped from my sudden size growth, my shoes bulging as if they were about to burst.
Suddenly, a small sphere of white mana surrounded my body. This is where I awaken, I told myself.

3RD POV
The bright sphere of mana that enveloped a seething Salvador suddenly burst out, causing a total ruckus.
Swords flew off the shelves, some flew over and some swords nearly broke from the power of the shockwave.
Before it exploded, high-level mages of a Sixth Force Mage minimum jumped into action.
The eight mages circled Salvador, chanting and forming odd hand gestures.
In unison, the eight planted their hands in a circular shape on the floor around the awakening Salvador.
""RISE!"" Suddenly, barriers of mana akin to those back in the arena were erected, covering a 15-meter radius around Salvador. |
"BRACE!" One of the older mages screamed out.
As the sphere of mana enlarged and clashed against the walls, the portion of the building rumbled and shook from the power of the awakening.
"THIS ISNT A NORMAL AWAKENING! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!" The fourth mage yelled out.
Of course, it was far from normal.
Not only did he consume the mana of Lance Leonard, his father, but it was also a very, very forced awakening.
The walls of mana shook and threatened to crack, yet before they could, Jaxon dashed out, almost too fast for any of the mages to see that were below Seventh Force.
He firmly planted his hands on the ground and erected a mana barrier far stronger and bigger to act as an extra layer of protection. "He won't break out of that." He sternly stated.
The ground within the barriers was quickly destroyed, caving in nearly twenty feet. Since the mana had nowhere to go, it had to expel itself somehow.
A few seconds later, the awakening finally ended.
Salvador lay in the middle of a gigantic and deep crater, barely conscious and breathing.
"I fucking did it... You bitch." He said in a guttural voice.
As he finished his statement, something rather phenomenal happened.
Suddenly, a grey box appeared in his vision. Although his vision was slowly darkening, he could still make out what he saw.
[Congratulations! You awakened!]

'Y-You're alive...' Isora said in complete shock.
'You never told me I would get a system...'
Isora tried to say something but couldn't, even if it was in her mind.
'Because! I knew you would do something like this if I did!'
Salvador couldn't help but smirk through the nearly unbearable pain. "You're right."
Those were his last words before he passed out from exhaustion and pain.
Jaxon dashed forward, picking up the boy.
"Iraktu."
Instantly, a large cloud of mana enveloped his body, a portion of it going down his mouth.
"Severe organ damage... He's only six it seems, but he's really three... God damnit." Jaxon was anticipating the day he met his nephew, and he was extremely happy when he did. However, he couldn't make the reveal too early. Even he was aware of the impending doom if he did such a thing.
"I got this, clean up the mess." He sternly ordered.
Before he could walk away, William jumped forward, along with Nico who came bolting through the door.
""SALVADOR!""
Nico was the first to make it, far surpassing the speed of the Mana-crippled William.
Nico could hear the shout of his brother's name and the sudden surge of mana from the museum where William told him he was planning to go.
His speed surpassed most Fourth Force Knights, even some Fifth Force.
"IS HE OKAY!?" Nico cried out. A look of pure dread reigned on his face. His other brother suffered a career-ending injury, in Knighthood at least. The fear of losing him was extremely high, so when he realized his other brother was hurt, the emotions became uncontainable.
Jaxon turned his head and nodded. "He's healing, just follow me."
He stepped forward, Nico and William following closely behind.
"What the hell happened to my brother!"
Jaxon halted for a split second but the two didn't seem to notice it.
'They're his family... I see.'
He cleared his throat and conjured another healing spell.
"He awakened. The mana from Brance's Will seeped into him."
The two froze for a second.
"S-So that means..."
Jaxon simply nodded in response. "He's the son of Lance Leonard, or rather Lance Stokovor. However..."
The two couldn't even comprehend what happened.
Two small but visible circles of mana were drawn onto their chests. "Do it, now." Jaxon scarily ordered, discharging his robust aura.
The two couldn't do anything in the face of Jaxon, even if they were ten times stronger.
Following his commands, they injected their mana into the mana circle, although it was far more challenging for William who had a hard time controlling his mana, he managed to do it in a few seconds.
"There. You know what that is, right?" Jaxon quickly asked.
The two nodded in unison.
The mana circle on their chests was a simple 'secret' spell. Once the mana was injected, the user would be stopped if they ever tried to expose the said secret.
"Alright, follow me."
