I woke up groggily, rubbing at my eyes drowsily. Rubbing away the sleepiness that was clouding my vision, I blinked several times, letting the blurriness clear up as I slowly woke up. As I opened my eyes fully, a pair of dazzling blue eyes immediately caught my attention.
"Good morning, master" A sweet feminine voice greeted me, followed by a soft smile forming on her soft red lips.
"Hmm... Who are you?" I questioned, confused as I stared blankly at her.
"Ohh, forgive me dear master, I didn't mean to intrude upon your sleep" The woman bowed deeply. "I am your servant Rhea, your humble slave who serves her master loyally and obediently." She declared proudly.
"Ohh right... Rhea... I forgot..." I smiled weakly. How embarrassing!
"Oh dear master, am I not even worthy enough to be in your mind?" Rhea questioned worriedly, looking down sadly.
"Eh?! Of course not!" I hurriedly reassured her " I just spaced out a little that's all!" I added quickly.
"Master, this lowly slave of yours only has herself to blame for her own incompetence" Rhea muttered bitterly beneath her breath. Her voice filled with guilt, shame, and remorse.
"Hey hey, stop that. There's no need for you to feel bad, really" I insisted. "You are already amazing as you are. Don't worry"
Her eyes lit up at my words, "B-But-"
"Shhh...!" I cut her short, placing my finger on her soft red lips to silence her. "No buts!" I told her sternly, smiling warmly at her.
She blushed furiously, her ears burning red with embarrassment. "Master... I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you I love you" Rhea chanted repeatedly in her mind as she stared at her master intensely.
"Now then... " I cleared my throat as I removed my finger from her soft lips. "I should get dressed, or else I'll be late for work" I said casually, standing up and stretched my limbs languidly.
I walked over to my closet and pulled out a gray hoodie and a black jeans before heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As I brushed my teeth, I began to think about yesterday's events. I couldn't believe that I still can sleep peacefully after everything that happened. In fact, right after we got home, I went straight to bed, not caring much about what happened....
I finished brushing my teeth and washed my mouth thoroughly, spitting out the toothpaste into the sink. Then, I stepped out of the bathroom to see Rhea patiently kneeling on the floor, waiting for me.
She smiled brightly when she spotted me, her pretty blue eyes shining brightly under the sunlight streaming through the windows. Her beautiful raven colored hair flowing freely, reaching her waist.
I patted her head gently as I walked out the room, causing her to squeal excitedly. I laughed lightly at her reaction, knowing how excited she always gets whenever I pat her on the head or give her some affection.
I made my way to the door and opened it, stepping outside to find that the sun had already risen high. It was early morning already.
"Huh?" I stopped dead in my tracks as soon as my eyes laid onto the sight in front of me.
"Ohh right... I told her to bring it home" I muttered under my breath as my mind finally remembered.
It's that demon's corpse from yesterday. Rhea brought it back here last night and left it outside. So... what now? What should I do with it?
"Master, I brought it home as you ordered" Rhea called out behind me, interrupting my thoughts.
"Hm?" I turned around to look at her, "Oh, thanks Rhea" I replied, offering her a warm smile.
"Ahh... yes master" She smiled politely back as she looked down at her feet bashfully.
Rhea lifted her head slowly to see her Master staring at her with a gentle and loving expression on his face. The morning light reflected beautifully off his pale skin making him appear angelic.
"Ahhh master... my entire being yearns to worship you forever..." She whispered silently in her mind. She was completely entranced by her master.
"Rhea?" I called out her name softly.
She jolted out of her daze, realizing that she might have said these embarrassing words aloud. "I-I'm sorry for saying such things!" She exclaimed nervously, her face burning with embarrassment.
