"Rhea " I called her softly.
"Yes master" Rhea replied instantly.
"How do you feel about fighting this skeleton?" I inquired.
"Master I don't feel any threat coming from this... lowly being but if master wishes me to then I shall eradicate it without mercy" She answered confidently.
"No no no Rhea I just need you fight the skeleton without killing it, can you do that?"I explained to her.
"Forgive me master, for not understanding your request" She apologized, kneeling down before me.
"It's fine, just do whatever you're told okay?" I told her.
"Of course master, I shall obey your every command" She confirmed with an affirmative tone, bowing deeply to show her submission to me.
"Good girl" I petted her head lovingly.
"Mmm..." Rhea let out a soft purr, leaning into my touch as if asking for more.
"Well then" I stroked her head again before letting go. I turned to the skeleton who was still kneeling in front of us, awaiting my commands.
"Rise" I commanded.
The skeleton immediately rose to it's feet and looked at me, waiting for further instructions.
"So it can understand my words, huh?" I commented. "Show me your strength" I ordered as I took a step backwards.
The skeleton picked up it's sword and shield before positioning itself in front of Rhea in a battle stance, ready to engage in battle.
"Begin" I declared.
I watched in silence as the skeleton warrior dashed towards Rhea and swung it's sword at her. Rhea simply and swiftly caught the blade with her bare hand and took a step forward. With a swift movement, her fist slammed against the skeleton's chest, sending it flying backwards before crashing against the wall.
My jaw dropped as a result of witnessing Rhea's attack. Why? Because she fucking sent that skeleton flying! Did I just witness a true badasserry here?! She fucking shattered the poor skeleton's rib cage with ease! That goes to show that she's far stronger than the skeleton warrior.
"How weak and pathetic... how can you serve our master with such inferior strength? Know your place" Rhea stated with disdain as she gazed upon the defeated skeleton.
The skeleton warrior, as if it was triggered by Rhea's words, grabbed it's sword and rose to it's feet. It's red eyes glared at Rhea menacingly, challenging her once again.
Rhea merely stood there, completely unfazed as she held her ground calmly. However, the skeleton warrior wasn't planning on backing down. It's red eyes glowed brighter and brighter while it's body began emitting a dark aura, preparing itself to unleash it's full power.
"Should I stop this now?" I wondered silently as I watched both of them.
I mean, I already know who's stronger to prove my theory right. So, there's no need for them to fight anymore. However, I decided not to intervene as I can feel that the skeleton warrior was trying to prove it's worth to me.
Even though it doesn't have to do that because I don't really care about it since I decided to treat them as they are. As long as they obey my orders, I don't see a problem.
While I was distracted, I was surprised as the skeleton warrior suddenly charged towards Rhea without warning, raising the sword high above it's head and struck downwards with a powerful swing. I saw Rhea moved gracefully, avoiding the strike effortlessly by side stepping to her left, making the sword slice the air.
As soon as the attack failed, the skeleton turned around and face Rhea, but instead of retreating, it raised the sword again and aimed straight at Rhea. Then again, Rhea quickly shifted her body, evading the incoming attack, as the sword sailed past her.
She then took a step forward and threw her fist at the skeleton warrior. Luckily, the skeleton warrior managed to block it with it's shield but the impact behind Rhea's punch pushed the shield to collide with the skeleton's rib cage, and once again it was sent flying backwards and crashed into the wall.
It's bones was cracked all over it's body but despite this, the skeleton warrior stood back up on it's feet. It's fiery red eyes glaring defiantly at Rhea with pure tenacity and determination.
