"What did you want to talk to me about?" Nathaniel asked as he sat on the couch in his office.
Clark closed the door behind him and stood in front of his boss.
"Sir, there were two matters that have suddenly developed," Clark informed Nathaniel. "One involving the company, another involving Miss Maya. Which would you like to hear first."
Nathaniel pondered what he wanted to hear first.
"Tell me about the issue involving Maya," he said with a nod as he leaned back to relax.
"Someone is out to do a smear campaign on her," Clark reported as he handed Nathaniel a tablet.
Nathaniel looked at him and scrolled through the posts and articles that had spread all over social media.
Most of the articles came from small gossip websites no news agency big enough had published malicious information against Maya.
They knew well enough that even if it were false they would still end up offending Mr. De La Rue and no one could risk that.
