"I should get back, I'm sure my boss will start wondering where I am," Nathaniel said as he straightened his clothes and picked up the things Jay had fetched for him.
"That's so weird hearing you call someone boss," Clark chuckled, much to Nathaniel's annoyance as he rolled his eyes and walked out of his office.
"I'll be back after I clock out," Nathaniel announced, slamming the door behind him.
"Worth it!" Clark snickered with Jay as they sat on the couch in Nathaniel's office, dealing with several matters the CEO had left behind.
Nathaniel on the other hand returned to the Finance Department's floor, when he arrived his boss was clearly unhappy with how long it took him to come back.
"An hour, did it really have to take you an hour to get your laptop and my coffee?" Christopher asked as he slammed his hand on the table.
Nathaniel could tell that everyone was curious as their heads started to pop out from behind the desk dividers.
