Sitting on the picnic table, Ajay puts herbal remedies on my scratch. "I am sorry Adagyudi," he tells me.
"It's not your fault."
"I'm the one that brought him back here." He frowns, letting out his breath.
"Do you really think he is the Ghost King?"
"He doesn't look like a Ghost I don't know, I'm so confused Zare."
"Who told you about the Ghost King?" He places his hand on my cheek. I smile at his touch.
"I sought answers from the Tree of Knowledge, sensing a change in the forest."
"But you know some of the things the tree says are shenanigans."
"But the sword was right where he said it was."
I nod.
"How many apples did you take?"
"More than I want to admit," he looks away.
"If Dixon wasn't my mark mate, then why did I feel so strongly about him?"
Ajay looks surprised, his eyebrow rising up. "You seem like he had no effect on you."
"I was putting on an act for Chetan. I had every desire to kiss him, his scent was getting to me."
"That sounds like a mark mate, but I wonder if some love enchantment can do that," Ajay says.
"I could see what Zero knows."
"I have tried speaking to Zero about it. He doesn't seem to know anything about the Ghost King. I started wondering if they're invisible so he can't see them or he doesn't know what he's looking for," Ajay explains.
"They are working unseen?"
Ajay shrugs his shoulders. "Unless Zero is lying?"
My mouth hangs up. "Zero wouldn't?"
"Maybe he just can't see them ." He pats my leg.
I stand up, feeling a little dizzy and taken back, Ajay's strong arm wraps around me.
"As of right now, you're no longer allowed to see Zero," he tells me.
"Because he didn't know your answers?" I feel myself growing mad
"Zare, because things aren't adding up, he watches a spyglass, he should know."
"Did you tell him what the tree said?"
"Not exactly, I just wanted to see what he knew and if it matched it up with what the tree said. I just asked him if he could show me the Ghost King. He said, ``No, there is no Ghost king."
"So you believe the tree over Zero?"
"If I didn't find the sword, then maybe no."
Ajay takes my face in his hands, placing a kiss on my nose. "Do you trust me?"
I nod.
"Then be a good girl and stay away from Zero, until I figure it out," he tells me.
"Yes Alpha," I sarcastically say.
Ajay wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me into his body, and giving me a hug.
I see Chetan approaching. He looks upset, his face frowning. His eyelids tense.
"Break it up, you two." He snaps.
Ajay drops his hold on me.
"Zare, can we talk?"Chetan reaches out his hand for me.
I take it quickly, I need no time to think.
"Make sure Zare gets plenty of rest so her wolf can heal that scratch," Ajay calls to Chetan.
We walk hand in hand, but my world spins again and I feel dizzy. Stopping walking, I grab my head and rub my scratch, groaning a bit in pain.
Chetan sweeps me off my feet, I wrap my arms around his neck and nestle my head into his chest.
Once into the den, I bring my lips to his. Relief sweeps through me when he kisses me back. He lays me down gently, and I pull him on top of me.
"Zare," he laughs.
I take off my Flannel shirt, unbuttoning Chetan pants, and I rub over his chest.
"Baby, I want to talk." He smiles.
I run my hand over his Penis. "Zare, come on," he says through a groan. I know I was taking effect on him.
"Please Chetan." I look up at him with Puppy dog eyes. '
I feel his lips kissing all over my body and his hand running up my thighs.
An hour later, I lay naked on Chetan's body, him naked under me.
'We always do that?" he tells me.
"Do what?"
"Fight and then have sex."
"Chetan, I am sorry." He puts his finger to my mouth.
"No baby, this time It's my fault, I was so scared that if you did have a mark mate, You would choose him over me so I put barriers up to protect my feelings."
I frown, feeling ashamed of myself.
"Because of what happened with Ajay."
"I don't know." His forehead wrinkles.
" I love you."
He kisses me on the head. "I love you too."
"I am sorry I didn't listen to you when you were Alpha."
"Yeah, I am sorry I kept a Secret from you about the Ghost King."
"Ajay thinks Zero, Knows more than he's letting on or something."
"I don't know, the dude just watches a spyglass all day, how could he not?" I look at Chetan's face.
"Well, I'm getting to the bottom of it," I raise an eyebrow.
"Zare, I know Alpha ordered you to stay away from him and I want you to."
I roll my eyes.
Chetan grab my face with his hands. "Zare, do you hear me? Stay away from Zero."
"Okay, no secrets."
"No secrets," Chetan says, kissing my forehead.
