Revenge. It's the most human emotion I've seen on Afra, or at least somewhat human.
She's making the roots spread up to the Unseelie King's neck, his arms pinned to his sides. He's too weak, or otherwise he would have fought back.
But he can even so much as wiggle from her grasp, his skin turning a different shade than what it once was.
I'll let Afra hurt him until her anger appeases, but I can't let her kill him. She might not know who he is, but I did, and I had made a promise; simply to not kill him.
That didn't mean he couldn't be returned with a few broken bones.
"You can't kill him." I told her, and she gave me a wild look. I was unfazed, and she sighed harshly as she clenched her hands into fists.
