"You're an idiot!" Life repeated, crossing her arms as she glared at me. I said nothing, as I had done the first thirteen times she had said that.
"Look, I made an oath. I have to carry it out, like it or not." I said, settling behind my desk. I had a feeling that this was going to take a while.
"You are messing with the threads of death and life. If the sisters of fate weren't so entertained, there would be hell to pay." she argued.
"Life, you're making this more serious than what it needs to be. Everyone is just watching, why can't you?" I asked, leaning back in the chair.
Life glares at me; she looks moments away from hitting me, and instead of saying anything, she begins to fade away. I'm not the one ending this conversation, but I don't stop it, watching as she disappears completely.
I take a moment to look around my home, before I feel myself being pulled away.
