Wilder sat on the table munching on the food in front of him, paying no mind to Anya; he was really enjoying the home-cooked meal.
"Anya, I'm heading out. Make sure you clean the dishes." All of a sudden, Anya's mom's voice resounded from the front door.
She was now dressed in her uniform in its entirety and was prepared to leave.
"ah?" Anya's face looked stunned for a second, but soon her expression returned to normal.
She was used to her mother leaving at the most abrupt times, so it didn't bother her that much.
"Wilder, think about what I said—the demon whale army is always looking for rare talents." Anya's mother spoke one last time, but what followed was the slamming of the door as she made her way out of the building.
"sigh!!" Anya sighed seeing her mom leave.
Meanwhile, Wilder was still busy enjoying himself.
And after a while,
"Are you done?" Anya asked calmly, with her eyes glued on Wilder.
"well…." Wilder stuck a toothpick in his mouth while trying his best to look away from Anya, who was staring him down like a piece of meat.
It was very creepy, ever since Anya's mother left. Anya had been looking at him attentively.
"I would like to show you something interesting," Anya said.
"Pass," Wilder, who was still looking away from Anya, said, then stood up as if trying to walk away.
But
He soon felt a firm hand on his shoulder, causing him to sigh with helplessness. He didn't know what Anya wanted, but he knew that it couldn't be anything good.
He regretted talking about the black core a moment ago he knew how competitive Anya was but he just couldn't help himself

"It's in here," Anya said as she dragged Wilder by the hand down into the basement of the house.
Though the house looked old, it still had this charming feel to it that made it seem very attractive.
"oh? That is a gravity room?" Wilder asked with some surprise.
Gravity rooms, After breaking through to the enhanced human stage, Wilder became a bit curious about the power system of this world, and with a little bit of clearance he had gotten and some talk from his friends, he was able to gather some information, but it was still limited as he could only get the next two stages of power.
After the enhanced human stage was something called the spirit human stage, and the other was called the spirit king stage.
To reach the spirit human stage, those who have gotten to the enhanced human stage would have to enhance their organs and blood exponentially, allowing them to sense the energies in this world.
Just like the immortal energy in the immortal world, there really is something like that on earth; its called mana, but it can't be sensed by normal humans who haven't gone through enhancements and rigorous training.
And to sense this mana, the gravity rooms were needed; they provided the appropriate environment for the development of the body with respect to mana sensing.
At the enhanced human stage, the gravity room was essential.
As for the spirit king stage, when he asked Anya and his other friends about it, they gave him almost the same answer.
'To fight against monsters, one must look into the abyss and become a monster.
"get ready" As Wilder looked on at the gravity room with awe, he heard Anya's voice resound from behind him.
"Ready for what?" Wilder said as he slowly turned back to look at Anya, who was standing behind him.
And to his surprise, she had taken off her military uniform and donned wrestling gear, which held her really tight, bringing out the shape of her body.
Wilder couldn't help but stare. Anya didn't have particularly huge boobs, but they were in the realm of being perky enough.
But even with Wilders staring, Anya didn't seem phased at all as she stared him down.

"Do we really have to do this?" Wilder spoke with some reluctance.
They were now inside the gravity room at the request of Anya. It was Wilders first time inside a gravity room, so he took a while to observe the place.
It was like any ordinary room; the ground was solid, and the only difference was a sort of white foam attached to the walls. They were probably there to protect the equipment because it didn't make sense for them to be there for the users.
After all, when you step into a gravity room, you expect to get hurt.
And that was why Wilder was here; Anya had decided to hurt him for no good reason.
Not long after they stepped into the gravity room, Wilder started feeling a sort of heaviness descend on him, like he was holding up a huge stone.
But unlike the feeling of holding up a huge stone, where the feeling of heaviness was felt in certain parts of the body, this feeling he was having spread throughout his body.
But as Wilder tried to understand this feeling in more depth, he felt the wind around him kick up.
"Watch out!" Anya lounged forward with a kick.
Seeing the kick approach, Wilder just moved slightly and dodged; that was child's play to him, and it seemed like Anya too was testing the waters in this little spar.
And so the attacks raged on Anya would go from direct kicks to fades and then to straight punches but wilder dodged all of them easily
"Okay, I'm getting serious now." Anya said casually, following that she vanished from Wilder's field of vision.
"Hehe," Wilder laughed bitterly as his eyes immediately caught up with her movements; it seemed like his eyes had gone into overdrive in that brief moment.
As soon as he stepped into the gravity room, Anya started hitting him with light attacks, trying to get his movement patterns down, so Wilder started limiting how much he moved, and as soon as she noticed that, she changed tactics.
She started using his blind spots to attack him, but she didn't account for how fast Wilder's eyes were
Well, it wasn't really his eyes that were responsible for him being able to keep up with her stepping into his blind spot while maintaining a limited movement space; it was specifically his mind.
His immortal soul
This was one of the reasons why Liam's mom classified Wilder as an abnormal, his immortal soul allowed him to do things that were beyond what a normal human's mental capacity would permit
"hm?"
"boom!!"
After a short while of Wilder dodging Anya's attacks, she soon became irritated and launched a full-frontal attack on Wilder.
And of course, Wilder responded in kind.
In just a few seconds, countless blows were sent Wilders way, and every single one was easily deflected.
It was clearly frustrating, Anya.
