"The corrupted and the other powers are calling the dungeon the legacy of the fallen beast tamer Luan." The person whom Wilder had just told to raise went on one knee to explain.
He was really acting brain-dead.
"oh luan?" Wilder raised an eyebrow.
Even in his time, which was far in the future, the acts of Luan were still known far and wide. Luan was a powerful beast tamer that went around singlehandedly subduing furious beasts all over the immortal world.
In fact, he didn't only tame beasts; there was one account of him taming a cloud of evil gas that went around corroding living things in some remote part of the immortal world. He was the hero of their time, able to stand up to the most powerful immortals.
The only reason for his fall was his arrogance and loose tongue.
He once insinuated that heaven was a beast that he would tame, eventually causing him to get struck by lightning all of a sudden.
That is what marked his death.
He was revered by all, but he never left a legacy, though there have been countless accounts of his legacy appearing since his death.
It happened so much that no one paid attention to it anymore; if not, this city would be overrun by immortals in a matter of minutes.
"Yes, revered one, but little do they know that it is the test sent up by our lord the jade beast," the butler added with a gloating tone.
He was clearly feeling proud that, as the powers in the city went in headless with no clue of the actual situation, they knew what was going on.
It made him feel happy to see people running around like headless cockroaches.
"Ehhh," Wilder had a bit of distaste. In his mouth, seeing the perverse look on the old butler's face
"Yes, revered one?" The old butler bowed his head before Wilder.
"Nothing. Oh wait, I want you to find these people for me," Wilder said as he sent over images of the two to the butler.
They had this device in the immortal world that, in actuality, was obsolete in his time in the immortal world, but it seemed to be what was popping up at this time.
The device worked like a phone, but it was just used to store and send certain information to others.
The old butler accepted the information and turned around into a corner in the main house.
"sigh!!" Wilder sighed as he brought out his interface.
"Oh, they are here." Wilder thought upon seeing a notification on his control panel:
*logging of
Not long after, Wilder looked at the gaming cabin surrounding him.
Before logging in, he had received a message from the head instructor of the Warhawk Academy ordering him to meet up, and Wilder happily obliged.
Maybe he would get a gift for his amazing performance at the graduation party.
Wilder then made his way out of the gaming cabin and walked towards the door and peered through it, and there stood two middle-aged men and a young one.
They were none other than the head instructor, and as for the other two, Wilder didn't know them, but for them to be walking with the head instructor, they had to be of some sort of high standing.
"Click" Wilder opened up and let them into the room.
Normally he would have preferred to meet outside the dorm, but the head instructor insisted that they meet in the TRT dorms as if trying to send a message to the management.
"Wilder, my boy, come, let me take a look at you!" the head instructor exclaimed as he took Wilder into his hands and gripped him tightly.
He was acting as if he and Wilder had some sort of close relationship, even though they didn't. Wilder could understand that the head instructor was trying to make himself look good in front of his friends.
Not long after, Wilder invited the men into his room.
"such a cramped-up place," the head instructor commented.
Wilder didn't have any furniture that could be used to entertain guests, so they just had to stay on the floor.
"Well, you don't have to worry about it anymore though; I've spoken to the administration of the Trt group, and you should be ready to leave anytime today." The head instructor gave Wilder some assurance.
This place was not conducive for a talent like Wilder; there was trouble from those who didn't like him, which might affect his state of mind, and the sheer lack of training equiptment was just unprofessional for a dorm.
"Then I will have to thank you, head instructor," Wilder said, accompanied by a slight bow.
"Don't mention it; it is your talent that is speaking up for you." This time the person to speak was the other middle-aged man.
From the ID card hanging on his neck, one could easily infer that he was in fact a high-level administrator of the TRT dorm.
Apparently they had already struck a deal; it was a simple agreement. Due to the TRT company's relationship with Wilder becoming sour because of the actions of Noland and co., they knew they couldn't keep him.
So the next best thing was to make sure he reaped all he could sow from whomever was actually getting wilder.
"Brothers, I will be off to settle some of our friend's transfer documents." The TRT admin stood up abruptly and made his way out of the room, leaving Wilder here with the head instructor and the other young man.
The head instructor watched as the TRT administrator left the room, and as soon as he did, the head instructor turned to Wilder.
Wilder also saw this and looked up at him with determined eyes. He could see that there was another reason for the head instructor's visit, so he remained on his toes.
"Wilder, I have a proposal for you," the head instructor said while staring Wilder down intensely.
