Chapter 11 - Bosses. Hunts. Preparations (3)

I stepped first into a blacksmith's store.

"Excuse me," I called out.

Inside the store littered with Mahogany planks, many different weapons made from the finest of ores were displayed. All of the displayed items had their stats and effects written below them in a placard.

"Oh, a young customer? Never seen ya 'round these parts."

The blacksmith spoke to me as if were old friends. Holding a small hammer in one hand and a large cigar in the other, the man with bulging muscles and shedding hair turned to me with a wide grin.

"What can I get for ya?"

"Do you make nets?"

"A net?"

"Yes. Something strong enough to hold… a large snake."

"That's an odd request…" The man scratched his chin and spoke. "It shouldn't take that long to make, probably around two days? I just received a metal-spider's thread, so it should be possible."

"I'll pay you double, can you make it faster?"

"Double!" The man smacked his thighs and laughed. "Let's say I can. Do you want to spend three thousand points on this?"

I merely nodded at his words.

"Come back by this evening. I'll see what I can do."

"No advance?"

"Nah, I'd like to live up to my word first."

It seemed he was the type that would get in debt eventually. I nodded and left the first shop and then moved into a few more. Magic shops for more scrolls, and stuff that made me look especially flashy and flamboyant.

By the time I was done, my pure black coat was adorned with many items that increased aura and charm, but the enchantments of different types made all their effects cancel out.

Flashy weapons with barely any functionality but aesthetic, similar with my armor. I looked like the perfect image of a vain person.

After getting it all down, I moved to the back alleys of the shopping district. Once I was sure that no one was around in the alley to look at me, then only did I change back into my usual attire and stored everything else in a bag I had brought.

My fortune of 11000 points was reduced to 4000, but that much should be more than enough. The benefits I was going to reap from all this was going to be my life.

Eventually, I found myself walking toward the back-most shop in the district. I had remembered this place as selling particularly high-quality leather items but barely having a strong customer base.

Standing outside that very shop.

"Hello! Nonono, too, bold… I can't do that…. Hello? That sounds better. Let's practice ten more times."

Was the coward of the tower.

I could feel my forehead twitching at this bastard's actions.

"What. Are you doing?"

The regressor turned to face me.

"Hello!" he said.

Just what was I stuck with?
