Eyes stared at her like she was the devil they were talking about, gazing at the environment, Justin was no longer in the room.
"Mum, tell her what we've discussed," Maddie said with folded arms as the principal turned to look at her with an indifferent look and Gema.
"Mira, you have to listen to what I'm going to say, the camping event, you have to join the camping. Your principal said you could use this to repent and gain her trust once more."
"But-"
"Mira, do you think this is something I wouldn't agree to? You have made a decision that has caused you this mistake. Now, the only option that's best is if you repent for your sins." Gema interrupted.
Mira clenched her jaw as she took steps toward Gema coldly, it gave goosebumps to the people around. Her eyebrow arched seeing from the corner of her eyes Maddie wanted to approach.
"Okay, if you say so, I committed a sin I shouldn't have done, I will go to the camp if you say so. But I wonder if Maddie agreed to this."
Getting on Maddie's nerves, Maddie held the unbandaged arm pulling her out of the room.
"Do you think is easy agreeing to this? Why are you trying to take this to your advantage?" She said aggressively.
"You're so lucky I decided to get you out of this mess," Maddie added.
Mira scorned with a smirk on her face though she got a frown from Maddie.
"Justin, common, I want to hear how exactly she'd saved us from this mess." She said as her gaze passed from Maddie to the person who was behind her.
Justin stood there with a nylon bag in his hand.
****** Flashback.
"Mira, your hand is bleeding!!" Justin called attention to the arm which was bleeding profusely but before he could ask her to hold on so he could get a cloth to cover the bleeding arm, she fainted.
He caught her in the arm before she could fall to the ground.
"Oh my, what are we going to do?!!" Maddie asked shrieking as she looked at the girl who was in Justin's arms.
If it was up to her, she would have asked Justin to leave her here instead but she has to behave to be the good sister instead.
She was stuck between decisions.
"Maddie could you get a cloth or something to cover her wound, is still bleeding." He said concerned as he stared at the blood that was giving him temptation.
"Justin, stop making it seem as though she's going to die, I don't know where I could find-" she couldn't finish her word interrupted by the sound of Justin tiring his cloth into a straight line.
He immediately attended to the bleeding arm covering it with a cloth.
"Justin," Maddie hesitant spoke looking at the guy who had become bare-chested because he used his cloth.
His chest shone like he was on set for an abs commercial set, sparkling and alluring with his abs that shone like Henry the lobster from SpongeBob.
His gaze narrowed at Maddie with cold eyes.
"Maddie, you should call the ambulance," he informed and then his attention was back on Mira, she was still unconscious.
He raised her carrying her in a bridal way walking to a place where there was shade for them to stay under the scorching sun.
Meanwhile, Maddie was speaking to the ambulance emergency line as she followed Justin.
Justin took a look at her arm and then he saw the cloth he used to cover her wound had soaked in blood.
His gaze deepened wanting to take a sip of the blood.
The temptation was so hard it slapped him on his face perceiving the scent of her blood.
He clenched his jaw as hard as he could, his fangs were growing bit by bit though he was holding himself enduring the pain.
The damn blood was tickling him to taste her, his eyes grew widened not realizing his hand was about to reach for the soaked cloth.
"Justin," his gaze averted when Maddie tapped his shoulder.
"The ambulance is here," she informed and then he noticed the siren that rang.
A team of men came out of the ambulance with a stretcher in their hands. A doctor also came to remove the cloth that was on Mira's arm and then the doctor gave treatment to the arm.
Though as they attended to Mira, Justin's gaze was still on the cut hand.
She'd awaken his senses and now, he couldn't even satisfy his quench.
"Justin, you have to wear something." Maddie reminded as he took a look at his bare chest.
He nodded in agreement as Maddie handed him a coat she'd collected.
"Wear this, another one would arrive when we get to the hospital." She said as Justin took the cloth, though her thoughts were bothered wondering if she could tell Justin what she was thinking about.
Taking Mira to the hospital will involve the principal.
She couldn't get in trouble.
"Justin, please, could you listen to me?" She said softly as Justin turned to her with an arched eyebrow reacting to her hand that landed on his shoulder.
"What are we going to do about her?" She asked as her eyes went in the direction of Mira.
"What do you mean?" He responded calmly as his gaze narrowed towards her.
"Justin, the principal would get involved in this matter, she would appear at the hospital if she discovers this incident."
"Are you trying to say we should ditch her?"
"Justin, listen, it isn't about ditching her, we have to think of somewhere that would lead us out of trouble."
"Then what should we do?"
"Don't worry, Justin. I think I'll have to get an escape for us, I just need you to leave this to me and trust me." She said as her direction was on the doctor attending to Mira with a devilish smile.
********End of flashback.
"Mira, listen, if this is what will get us away from trouble then why are you against it?" Justin asked as Mira looked at him with disgust.
He keeps defending Maddie, he doesn't know what her agenda was.
"Justin, this wouldn't set us out of tro-" Mira didn't finish her sentence as she was gripped by her bandage hand tightly, she whimpered in pain as she turned to Maddie in anger.
When Mira's eyes shifted to her, she saw Maddie direct her eyes somewhere else, checking who it was staring at them with a frown, she knew she must have heard something.
"What kind of trouble are you speaking of?" The principal asked.
