Sarah woke up to the sound of her phone ringing. She groggily picked it up and saw that it was a text message from Alex.
"Hey, are you up?" the message read.
Sarah rubbed her eyes and replied, "Yeah, what's up?"
"I found a new lead on the villain we've been chasing. Can you meet me at the usual spot in 30 minutes?" Alex texted back.
Sarah quickly got dressed and headed out to the designated spot, which was a coffee shop near their apartment. She arrived just in time to see Alex sitting at a table, his laptop open in front of him.
"Hey," Sarah said, sliding into the chair opposite him.
"Hey. I've been going through some security footage from the recent attacks, and I think I might have found something," Alex said, turning the laptop around so Sarah could see the screen.
On the screen was a blurry image of a figure in a black cloak, standing outside a building that had been attacked the previous week.
"That's our guy," Sarah said, studying the image.
"I was thinking the same thing. I've been looking through more footage and cross-referencing it with data from the police and other agencies, and I think I've identified a pattern. This guy seems to be targeting buildings that are owned by a certain corporation," Alex explained.
Sarah leaned forward, intrigued. "What corporation?"
"It's called TechCore Industries. They're a technology company that specializes in advanced robotics and AI systems. They've been in the news a lot lately for their controversial projects, and I think this guy might be trying to take them down," Alex said.
Sarah nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. But why would he be targeting them specifically?"
"I don't know yet, but I'm planning on doing some more research. I was thinking that maybe we could check out their headquarters tonight and see if we can find anything," Alex suggested.
Sarah grinned. "Sounds like a plan."
As they made their way back to the apartment, Sarah couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. They were getting closer to catching the villain, and she couldn't wait to see what they would uncover at TechCore Industries.
