Alex had just gotten back from a long night of fighting criminals when he saw Sarah waiting for him in their apartment. He tried to hide his injuries, but Sarah was too quick.
"What happened to you?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.
"Nothing," Alex said, shrugging her off.
But Sarah wasn't having it. "I know you're lying, Alex. Something's wrong."
Alex sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to keep up the charade for long. "There's been a new villain in town. He's been causing a lot of trouble, and I've been trying to stop him."
Sarah's eyes widened. "Who is it? Do you have any leads?"
"Not yet," Alex said. "But I'm working on it. I just hope I can stop him before he causes any real damage."
As the days passed, Alex worked tirelessly to track down the new villain. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to get any closer to finding him.
Meanwhile, Sarah was working on her own project. She had taken the super soldier serum from Project: Phoenix and was experimenting with it in secret. She knew it was dangerous, but she couldn't help feeling like it was the only way to stop the new villain.
One day, Sarah's experiments went wrong, and she found herself under attack from a group of shadowy figures. She barely managed to escape with her life, but she knew that she had stumbled onto something big.
As she lay in bed recovering from her injuries, she realized that the new villain was not what he seemed. He was not just some random criminal causing trouble in the city. He was part of a much larger organization, and they had their sights set on Alex and Sarah.
Sarah knew that she had to warn Alex before it was too late. But could she do it without revealing her own secrets? And could she stop the looming threat before it was too late?
