Sarah sat at her desk, staring at her computer screen. She had been analyzing the data she had stolen from TechCore Industries for the past hour, but she still couldn't make sense of it.
TechCore was a technology company that had been making waves in the industry with their groundbreaking inventions. Their latest project, which Sarah had infiltrated and stolen data from, was shrouded in secrecy. All she knew was that it was called Project Phoenix, and it had something to do with artificial intelligence.
Sarah sighed and leaned back in her chair. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was missing something important. As she was about to give up for the day, her computer beeped, signaling an incoming message.
It was from Sentinel.
"Hey, Sarah. Just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. I know we've both been busy lately, but we should hang out sometime soon."
Sarah smiled at the message. As much as she hated to admit it, she enjoyed spending time with Alex. But she knew that they could never truly be friends, not when they were enemies in their alter egos.
She quickly typed out a response. "I'm good. Just busy with work. But we should definitely hang out soon. How about tomorrow night?"
"Sounds good to me. See you then," Alex replied.
Sarah shut her computer down and got up from her desk. She had a lot of work to do if she wanted to figure out what Project Phoenix was all about before her next encounter with Sentinel.
