Rosalie stumbled back when she thought she heard a heavy growl, but she guessed it was just her clouded mind as she looked from Giovanni’s darkened yet smug face to Cora, who glared at her before smirking satanically.
"This isn't over," she said before leaning forward as her hand suddenly shoved the glasses of herb oil off the table shattering them on the floor. Rosalie gasped, and jump back, while Giovanni glared at Cora, who blew him a kiss before leaving.
"Oh my god, this is bad, Mel will be-
"Rosalie, relax, Mel will understand, Cora was just being bitch," he said, holding her shoulders as she looked up at him, "Why did you kiss me?" She asked as he sighed, "Just- just forget about it, okay," he said, Rosalie removing his hand, scoffing lowing before shaking her head, "Fine, whatever, but at least help me with this," she said bending down to clean the mess that Cora caused with Giovanni's help.
As they were cleaning, Giovanni stood up to throw away his portion of glass when suddenly they heard a low whistle. Looking up, Rosalie saw another group, this time consisting of guys, who shamelessly checked her out with smirks and lazy grins on their faces.
Rosalie watched the group with a cautious look in her eyes before glancing at Giovanni over her shoulder as he glared at the group of guys.
"Hey, pretty girl?" The guy in front greeted her as he leaned against the table smirking down at her, "Hi, how can I help you?" Rosalie asked as she continued picking up the broken glass, "I'm Mateo, I heard you were Benjamin's granddaughter, I hope you didn't forget about me that quickly," he said as Rosalie froze in her place.
Looking up, she squinted her eyes, "Excuse me?" She asked earning a light chuckle, "The guy in the forest, your welcome," he replied, Rosalie, tilted her head, "Oh, that was you?" She asked, he nodded, "Mateo, huh?" She asked as he smirked leaning closer, "And Cora's your sister?" She continued to ask causing his eyebrows to furrow, "What's with the questions?" Asked one of the guys as Rosalie looked at him.
"Who are you?" She asked as the guy smirked, "Blake," he replied earning an eye roll, "Then you're irrelevant," she said before turning back at Mateo, while the guy next to Blake snickered, "Tell your sister that she owes me forty supplies worth of herb oil that she destroyed," she spat while Mateo stared at her before sighing heavily as he pulled out his wallet.
"I'm sorry," he said, pulling money out of his wallet before Giovanni angrily stomp over and stood in front of Rosalie with a scowl on his face, "I don't know what the fuck your problem is, but you should leave because I don't have a problem causing a scene,” he gritted through his teeth as Mateo looked at him before slowly putting the money back into his wallet, “Oh!” He teased with a smirk on his face while shoving his wallet back into his pocket before folding his arms.
“I see what’s going on here, it seems you’ve turned into a guard dog for the cripple’s granddaughter, or is it dogs, how’s going, Genesis, I see your owner called for you,” he said looking over his shoulder as Genesis stood behind them with a bored look on his face.
“What’s it like, Rosalie?” He asked looking over Giovanni’s shoulder at Rosalie, who frowned, “What are you talking about?” She asked as he smirked, “A threesome, I always wanted to experience one, you seemed to be living my dream,” he said, Rosalie frowning in disgust while the other boys laughed.
Giovanni was livid as he leaned forward placing his hands on the table. His once-blank expression mortified into a mocking smirk as he stared into Mateo’s eyes, “At least I’m pursuing someone who wants me,” he said causing Mateo to clench his jaw, “You reek of your pathetic father, Mateo, is he still bitching about getting rejected, it’s clearly rubbing off on his waste of space that he calls children,” he said ticking Mateo off as he swung aiming at Giovanni, who easily dodged his blow before grabbing his head, slamming it into the table, grabbing everyone’s attention.
Rosalie watched the events unfold before her widened eyes with her hands glued to her mouth. “This wasn’t supposed to happen,” she thought, watching as Mateo’s friends glared at Giovanni before Blake got up in his face, “What the fuck is your problem, Gio?!” He yelled as Rosalie swore she saw Giovanni’s face soften before Genesis turned Blake to face him before sucker punching him in the face, sending him to the ground groaning in pain.
“You were always such a whiny little bitch,” Genesis said in his still bore lazy tone causing Rosalie to giggle as she quickly silence herself before Melody’s screaming voice caught their attention.
“Genesis! Giovanni! What’s the meaning of this? She asked furiously causing the twins to curse under their breaths, “Look, Mel, they started it, we were just defending ourselves and Rose,” Giovanni said as Melody looked at Rosalie, who wore a guilty look, “I’m sorry, Mel, but his sister came over and before she left, she destroyed the glasses of oil on the table,” Rosalie explained as Melody looked down at the table before sighing shakingly.
“I’ll pay for the damage, Mel, I promise,” Giovanni said rounding the booth to come stand in front of Melody before grabbing her hands, “I’m sorry,” he whispered as she nodded caressing his hands in hers, “It’s alright, Gio, but it’s been a long day, maybe you and Genesis should take Rosalie back home, I’ll stay and sort this out,” she said as he frowns, “Are you sure?” He asked, “Yes, Gio, now go on, people had seen enough,” she said before looking at Genesis as he nodded, Giovanni then walked to the front of the booth to call Rosalie, “Hey, come on, we’re taking you home,” he said earning a sigh before she rounded the booth to only stop behind him.
“And who said anything about wanting you,” she said before walking to Melody, kissing her cheek as she then followed Genesis back to their jeep.
“Fuck me.”

The drive back to Benjamin’s was silent as Genesis drove and Giovanni stared dead ahead, deep in thought. Rosalie had occupied herself by looking out the window. She was happy that Melody had asked the twins to take her home, but she didn’t want to go home just yet.
At the moment, she felt like she was suffocating at home. She needed fresh air, and peace, and was in the sudden mood to go swimming.
“I don’t want to go home,” she said as Genesis looked at her through the review mirror, “Where do you want to go?” He asked as she turned to look at him, “Can we go back to the spot in the forest?” She asked as Genesis grinned before glancing at his brother, who sighed before nodding as Genesis made a U-turn.

Being back in the forest made Rosalie instantly relax, her struggles and the feeling of being unwanted had vanished the moment she entered the forest.
She knew she belonged in the forest, she felt it in her veins, it was as if she was naturally connected to the wildlife, she felt free.
Walking ahead as the twins trailed behind her, Rosalie looked over her shoulder with raised eyebrows, “Am I going the right way?” She asked earning a scoff from Giovanni.
“No,” he said before walking ahead of her, grabbing her hand in the process causing her to roll her eyes before yelping as Genesis pitched her butt, “We wanted to see how far of a smartass you would be until you realized that you actually don’t know where you’re going,” he said as she stuck her tongue out at him.
“You’re such a pig,” she said earning a chuckle from Giovanni, who looked over his shoulder, “Do you mean a whore?” He asked as Rosalie scoffed, “No, that’s you,” she said as Genesis’s ruckus laughter filled the forest, while Giovanni glared over his shoulder before smirking, “We’ll see whose the whore when we have you spread out beneath us,” he said causing her mouth to gape in disbelief before she shoved Genesis, who snickered behind her, “Forget it, you both are pigs,” she huffed earning a chuckle from Giovanni who then moved aside to reveal the entrance of their private spot.
“Ladies first,” he said in a playful courteous tone earning an eye-roll before she flipped them off, “Oh, careful, Rose, my brother and I love sharing, so what’s his is mine,” Giovanni growled teasingly as Rosalie annoyingly walked away, earning a satisfied chuckled from the twins.
Upon entering the place, Rosalie’s face lit up in excitement while the twins stood back with lazy smiles and smirks on their faces, watching as she ran down to the lake before dipping her foot in the water.
“Holy shit, that’s cold!” She exclaimed as the twins laughed before their faces dropped and darkened, “Are you guys just gonna stand there or will you join me?” She asked, stripping from her clothes and remaining in solid black thongs and bra before walking into the lake, shivering as her body sunk further into the water.
“Fuck my life,” Giovanni mumbled before his brother smacked him in the chest, “Nah, I wanna fuck her life,” he said before walking towards the lake stripping from his shirt and pants, all while Rosalie watched him with a grin.
“Hm, impressive,” she said earning a scoff before Genesis grabbed his crotch, “Shut up little girl, this is probably the first time you saw dick print, why don’t you come stroke it to see how much longer it can get,” he teased causing her to laugh out loud, “You’re so nasty,” she wheezed earning a chuckled before Giovani appeared beside his brother, completely bare in white boxers, “Why white though?” She asked as he shrugged, “It’s because it makes his dick look big,” Genesis said earning a glare from Giovanni and a hysterical laugh from Rosalie.
“You guys will be the reason why I drown in this godforsaken water, hurry up and get in,” she complained earning a chuckle from the boys before they dived into the water.
Squealing with a wide smile on her face, Rosalie was suddenly lifted into the air as her thighs rest on either side of Giovanni’s shoulders, “Isn’t the water cold?” She asked as Genesis floated in front of them, “Nah, but you’re hot though,” he said, Giovanni scoffed before splashing water in his face, “What’s wrong with you?” He asked while Rosalie laughed at his expression when the water slapped his face.
“You’re so childish, bro,” Genesis said, staring blankly at his brother before Rosalie cleared her throat, “Can we discuss the elephant in the room?” She asked drawing Giovanni’s attention, “What about you?” He asked earning a gasp and loud laughter before Rosalie tightened her thighs around his head.
“Rose! When I imagine myself by suffocated in between your legs, I didn’t mean like this!” He screamed struggling to get freed while Genesis practically died of laughter.
“But seriously guys, I want to talk about what happened, including you kissing me,” Rosalie said as she now settled in the water, “What do you wanna talk about?” Genesis asked earning a sigh from Giovanni, “Mel told me about the man that was trying to court my mom, his name is Marcus, and his children’s names are Mateo and Cora, were they the people at the market?” She asked, “Yes, that was them, and now that you know how they look, stay away from them, especially Cora, she’s a psychopath,” Giovanni said as Genesis scoffed.
“You mean psycho-bitch,” he said earning a smile before Rosalie turned to Giovanni, “She seemed invested in you,” she teased earning an eye roll, “Yeah, well I’m not interested,” he said as Rosalie raised an eyebrow, “Why she seems beautiful?” she asked, ignoring Genesis’s smirk.
“Because I’m invested in you.”
