Chapter 35 - Caelus

Sho removed his eyes from the battle scene. He looked around and saw that Miya was lying in the distance, watching the fight too. Looking at her, she was badly hurt. It was not just her, almost everyone there was hurt. No one was capable of fighting anymore. Even Sho was badly hurt from his previous fight. Even though he wasn't bleeding anymore, his wounds were still grave if he overexerted himself.

He still needed potions to heal them quickly.

Thinking about that, he abandoned the place where Alpha and Ros'Lous were fighting and traveled to the tent of medics. He needed to see if there was any potion left.

It was slim, knowing almost all of their camp was either reduced to ashes or became a battlefield. When he arrived at the tent, he felt heartbroken with how messy things are around. Bottles, chairs, tables, scalpel were scattered everywhere. It was obvious the place also experienced the battle that had assaulted them.

But still, he tried not to lose all hope. He looked around and tried to find bottles that weren't broken or storage that was still attached. Bags, broken boxes and even the broken cabinet were checked.

Eventually, as he continued looking around, he finally found a storage briefcase that was broken but the content was safe. There were four red potions inside. Disregarding the current situation, he was amazed at the craftsmanship of the briefcase. It was an ordinary briefcase that was turned into a special case that could hold potions properly without fear of being broken.

He read the label and affirming it was a healing potion, he drank a bottle and put the three on his Inventory just to be safe. Because he didn't want to risk the bottle breaking, the safest place would be inside his Inventory where the System was the protector itself. He doubts anyone knows how to break the content of the System or his Inventory.

He immediately ran back to where the battle was happening and gave a potion to Miya. Though the rest of the guard might be better suited to battle, Sho was being biased because he had been with Miya before. He knew how she moved in combat and they had experience in working together. He felt that it would be better to heal someone who had experience working with him and Alpha than to heal someone strong but lacking teamwork experience.

"Thanks." Miya uttered. She drank the potion and started running her Qi Energy to heal herself.

Sho wanted to give the rest of the potion to the others, but he chose not to, instead he ran his skill. He wanted to see what they needed before he gave out the remaining potion. There were only two potions left. It was better to save one for Alpha, but he didn't know about the last one. It might come in handy later.

*Overview: Ros'Lous weakness.*

Sho silently gasped when he entered the familiar World of Information. Books, screens and scenes were everywhere. At the same time, scenes and screens were still blurry. He couldn't make anything out of it.

He removed his focus over there.

He was actually confused why instead of entering the Book of Information he was having a view of all the information around.

He thought that he could already have shortcuts in that area. Whenever he sees the World of Information as a whole, he feels a headache assault him. It was not a good thing.

He dreaded the most was being given information that had just a few words that he had to decipher it himself.

He knew he gave a specific command when he used his skill this time. Still, he was unsuccessful in making a book appear in front of him. There was nothing that gave him clue or information.

*Maybe, it's because it's another person?* He could only guess.

Soon, random words floated, they were so random that he couldn't get what they meant. And then, some information echoed in his ears.

*Huh? What is this? It sounds like a name…?* He wasn't sure what was happening.

The sound repeatedly echoed in his ears.

He was shocked.

*Am I Caelus? What does this have to do with Ros'Lous? What's going on?* He tried his hardest trying to access anything regarding Caelus. If he was that person, maybe it would trigger a memory from his past life.

The voice became weird and distorted. He could hear the System's voice and other voices as well. It was something he never thought would happen. He couldn't even begin to analyze it.

Sho was beyond shocked after what happened. He felt himself getting kicked out of the World of Information. The next second, only pain greeted him. He caught his head groaning in agony.

"Are you okay?" Miya asked, but her voice sounded distant.

He was in a lot of discomfort. He wasn't sure if it was because of getting kicked out of the World of Information, because of the answer he received there, because of trying to remember his past out of the name that was given to him or all of the above.

He panted and tried to calm himself down. The throbbing torture was still there. However he was prepared for the worst. Even though what happened wasn't what he wanted. He knew that plans don't always go right. Once he was calm, he ran his Qi Energy and made the potion go through his veins and waypoint.

It was as easy as breathing this time because of his previous experience.

He focused on healing his wounds and gathering energy. When his wounds weren't a threat anymore and didn't need anymore holding with the help of Qi Energy, he let the energy that was holding his wounds travel to his brain. He used those energies to sooth the pain his brain was feeling. He wasn't sure if it would work. He was just experimenting. And he was glad that it did work.

He let out a sigh of relief and looked at Miya who was worriedly eyeing him. "I'm fine. I used my ability."

Miya nodded. She looked at Alpha's direction, she too, knew that Alpha was losing the battle. Her brows furrow but she concentrated on healing herself more.

He didn't distract her. Now that he was feeling better, he was thinking about what the World of Information gave him.

*Caelus and you… am I really Caelus? The name sounds familiar. But why was my name given to me now? Am I related to Ros'Lous? Or am I their bane? Can the real me win against Ros'Lous?*

He felt like he had been given an answer. But more questions emerged after that.
