Everyone's faces were ashen as they looked at the spot where Ros'Lous detonated himself. It was like a horror film. But all knew that it was reality.
Blood splattered all over the place, everyone has blood painted on them either on their whole body or just some spots. There were bones that pierce through the floor, trees and humans. There were also some teeths that had not been destroyed all over the place. The innards that once used to be now looked like mush of blood all over the place.
One man started vomiting, not minding some bones penetrating his skin.
Upon realization of what happened. Everyone soon did the same. They threw up from the sight of gruesome death. Only Alpha and Sho remained untouched.
Sho was still in a trance.
He was watching everything without feeling. Without accepting everything as real.
He was seeing something else. There was a blanket of memories that was surging to rush forward, all the while being prevented by a thin layer of barrier. It was too much, there was too much that wanted to break out.
His heart started beating furiously.
~Buthumpbuthumpbuthump~
There was a foreboding feeling that his instinct told him to run away. But he stood still, frozen from unknown fear. It felt like there was a monster inside him wanting to crawl out. He felt dizzy and overwhelmed. He did his best to prevent it. Because he knew if that monster was let out, everything he protected here would be gone in an instant.
"Sho…" Alpha looked at him. He reached Sho's shoulder and squeezed it hard.
It was enough for Sho to feel the reality.
But he was still stuck in the trance. He was having a hard time to get back to his current reality as memories started to squeeze out of its way into him.
He heard a call. "Caelus, let's go~" A sweet voice called him. A female voice that felt so familiar for him. It tugged at his heart with sweetness and bitterness. It had a different accent from Sho or any people of Yamato. But strange enough, he was more familiar with that accent. He just didn't think of it before since he got injected with Sho's memories. Sho's accent was not his own.
"Live on. Promise me, you'll live, you'll survive for us. It's what Auntie and Uncle would've wanted. It's what XXXXX would've wanted. It's what everyone wants." It was a male voice, he knew he was close to him. The voice was so weak it was wonder how he had been able to talk.
~Dub-dub, dub-dub, dub-dub~
"Failure… again, I failed to protect." This familiar voice… he knew it was his. There was deep regret, deep hate, deep pain. All negative emotions were highlighted. "If that's how it is, let's destroy everything! Hah… hahaha!"
Although he wanted to go back, he felt complicated.
*What is happening? Who am I? How come I did what I did?* Slowly, his senses were coming back to him.
His first thought was to reject what he just did. But then remembered the voice saying he should accept himself.
*Did I hate myself before? That's why I didn't have any memory?* It felt passable. But even so, he didn't get any answer.
*Caelus. I am Caelus.* He knew it. He felt it. He closed his eyes. He was getting overwhelmed with everything. He tried casting his hobbies, but it didn't get triggered this time. He slowly started feeling suffocated.
*Am I a bad person before? Why did I hate myself?* The deeper he thought, the more pain he felt. It was like the pain was preventing him from getting his answer. *Did I destroy everything?*
He collapsed on his knees. His face was full of pain. He was not hearing anything from outside. All he could hear was himself and his struggle.
"AAAHHH!!!" Sho screamed. It was too much! He didn't know anything, but he felt like he knew everything. And that thought was slowly killing him. He felt the answer was within arms reach.
And then everything blackened.

"What in the world?" The group that was vomiting suddenly felt something weird as the place they were in started to glitch again. It was flickering. And soon, they saw different views per flicker.
They saw how hellish the view from the distant. There was fire everywhere. It was a familiar place for everyone. It was near Terra Station.
Another flick, another view to focus. They could see bodies everywhere.
Everyone was shocked as they tried to absorb what they were seeing.
Amidst that, a roar was heard from above. Everyone was appalled when they saw a huge dragon lurking above. There was someone riding the dragon. But because it was too far, no one knew what that person looked like.
~Flicker.~
The dragon looked at them.
~Flicker.~
The dragon roared and charged at them.
~Flicker.~
The dragon opened its mouth, inhaled deeply and charged its maw with fire.
Everyone held their breath. They were in a daze. They knew that anything they wanted to do would be nothing in those hellish breaths of fire.
The moment the dragon breathed the fire out. The flickering stopped. Everything was back to "normal". They were back protected with their Zone.
Everyone felt weak and dropped on their knees. They didn't even care if they were touching their vomit before. In normal circumstances, they would be disgusted with themselves. However, now they were just scared at what they saw. They were just relieved that the flickering stopped.
"I-it's real…" after some time. Someone finally managed to talk. "It's real!" He was hysterical. The knowledge of what was waiting outside for them just made that person crazy. Many others experienced the same thing. No one could blame them, though.
Their hopes shattered. And if what they saw was the world outside, then their families, friends and all the people they knew most likely died. They didn't even see any helicopter or anything from their side. They just saw everyone's dead bodies. It felt like no one was able to fight those monsters.
But who can really fight them when all the guns and machineries they have were broken upon the merging of two worlds? Things they were proud of were rendered useless. All they could use were primitive things no one uses in their daily lives. Some have new superpowers, magics, yet that wouldn't be enough. They could barely fend off one crazy man, how could they defeat a dragon?!
It was hell indeed.
Death looks like mercy it seems.
"It's over…" everyone's hearts were screaming.
