"Get your filthy hands from my body, how dare you touch me with your sticky hand! impudent!" Elias yells drawing the attention of the people. He used his hands to dust the tea from his clothes, he was way beyond angry currently a deep frown settled on his face. He ran his eyes over the plain-looking waitress, he wondered if she was blind or something.
"I am sorry sir, I apologize for spilling the tea on you," Abigail muttered bending down to pick up the broken cups and tray from the ground, she had little patience in dealing with rich brats like him so she turned her attention to the utensils.
"Master, are you alright? I will quickly get napkins for you to clean up yourself." Danny said turning around to search for a napkin to clean the master's clothes.
"There's no need for that, why don't the waitress here take off her clothes and use them in cleaning my suit? Or does she dare object?" Elias questioned, cocking his brows at her. He was acting arrogant, he wanted to punish the waitress for pouring tea all over him.
Within the restaurant, murmurs became flying around, and the young mistresses of high-end families and young masters became to whisper among themselves. "Isn't that Young master Elias? what is he doing here?".
"The young master of the Josh family?" Someone questioned.
"The CEO of Universal is here? what is he doing here?" A young man muttered standing up.
"I have a business proposal to show to him, I need to have him accept it" Another desperate young master whispered.
"That is Young master Elias, it's him. eeeeeeeeeeee....." Another young mistress screamed at the top of her voice in excitement.
"That lowly waitress dared pour tea upon the young master, who does she think she is?" A prideful young woman asked rolling her eyes.
"Let her use her clothes to clean his shoes, she is a poor mid-class, nobody." Another uttered.
Abigail's eyes turned cold at the words of the people whispering behind her, she tilted her head to glance at the people sitting around her. She raised her eyes to the man when she heard his words, her clothes to clean his body. He had to be kidding her.....
"Are you deaf? Can't you hear what am saying? Stand up on your feet and clean up my body I have to be upstairs now, do you want to keep me waiting?" Elias asked staring down coldly at the young woman on the ground.
"Am sorry sir but I can't do what you ask of me, I have to clean this up now so please excuse me," Abigail stated proceeding to continue cleaning the floor, and continued picking up the broken glasses.
"Are you disobeying me? You dare?" Elias muttered his voice turning icy cold and expression turning into a deep frown. Abigail didn't speak or respond to his words, she continued picking up the broken glass shards. The murmurs got bigger when she refused to clean his clothes with hers.
"Young Master, I can get you new napkins and towels to clean your body. The chairman is still waiting upstairs." Danny mumbled trying to stop the brewing fight between the young master and the waitress girl.
Elias frowned in a very deep manner, the girl was disobeying and refusing to obey him. Looks like she didn't know her class or place picking a fight with him. He raised his legs and stepped on her hands piercing her hand into the glass she was about to pick up from the ground.
Gasps filled the restaurant as Elias did that, Abigail released a short sound in pain before shutting up her mouth. She frowned and forcefully pulled her hands out from under his shoes, she raised her hand to pick out the glass from it. "Are you insane?"
"Are you crazy? why did you step on my hand? I think your brain is messed up" Abigail yelled in his face glaring at him, she couldn't believe the kind of jerks she was bumping into this week. Ugh! What an awful day.
"Now take off your clothes and clean my body, you don't want to get fired do you?" Elias spat out not feeling any remorse for his attitude and what he had just done to her.
By this time, everyone was already whispering among themselves, while some pitied the poor waitress others felt it served her right and that she deserved it. Old man Josh and his friends had just stepped into the restaurant when he witnessed what had happened, a frown settled on his old face.
Abigail glared at Elias when she heard the rubbish he was busy sprouting from his mouth, what an arrogant bastard he was. She wanted to kill him right now but she couldn't do that in broad daylight and the crowd was too much, she wiped her hands on her waitress apron.
Pak!!!
Raising her hand she threw a slap to his face with impeccable speed, "you don't need to get me fired! I quit my job already. Disgusting human." Abigail spat out and turned around to walk out of the restaurant. The people around all gasped in fear and shock, Elias was momentarily stunned at the slap he had just received. Just a common waitress! She dared slapped him!
Elias sprung round and held onto Abigail's hand gripping tightly onto it, he glared at her. Raising his hand he intended to throw a slap toward her face.
"Stop right there!" Old man Josh called out stopping Elias from landing a slap on Abigail, Abigail wiggled her hand out of his grip before running out of the restaurant not from embarrassment but from extreme anger.
"Grandpa, why did you stop me? She dared splashed tea on me and refused to apologize." Elias explained his face turning expressionless.
"Lass, come with me." Old man, Josh ordered and turned around walking out of the restaurant with his friends staying behind.
The young masters and mistresses inside the restaurant all heave a sigh of relief, and they all sat back down in their seats.
~~~~~ Outside the Restaurant ~~~~~
After Abigail ran out of the restaurant, she stopped a cab and got in directing him towards her house. A frown settled on her face when she stared down at her hands, different glints flashed through her eyes. She was not going to let this go, she vowed to get revenge for him doing this to her today!
"Ma'am, are you alright? Do you need a napkin? or some ointment?" The cab driver asked when he saw the blood on her hands from his rear mirror, he wondered what had happened to her seeing her hand red and bleeding too.
"Yes if you do not mind, I would appreciate it a lot," Abigail responded nodding her head to his words. The cab driver soon handed her the ointments and a few napkins to her, he felt pity for her but they were nothing he could do.
The cab came to a halt in front of the apartment she was living in, on a signboard it was written, "Love's Quarters."
Abigail climbed down and paid the man before striding towards her apartment, she brought her keys from her pockets and inserted them opening the door for herself.
She stepped into the dark-looking space and shut the door behind her, walking into a room at the right corner she slumped on her bed and closed her eyes.
