Chapter 9 - First day in marriage.

~~~~~ On the way from the civil bureau. ~~~~~
Abigail and Elias both sat inside his car with Danny sitting with the driver at the front, Abigail had her face turned towards the window staring out of it and Elias had his face on his laptop as he worked and typed furiously on it.
They had both gone into the civil bureau to get their marriage certificate together, she was still very angry the pretty boy at the club stood her up. The official inside the bureau had initially refused to get them married as they both had weird expressions on their faces until he refused a call from a certain someone and then had no choice but to get them married.
Abigail sat fiddling with her fingers as she stared out of the window, she glared at every placing building or tree. "Are you dropping me off somewhere? I need to go home.." Abigail muttered starting the conversation, she wanted to get down from the overly awkward ride.
Elias didn't reply to her question nor did he move his gaze away from the laptop on his legs, he continued typing on it like no one was talking. "Can't you hear me speak? Are you dropping me off someone or taking me to my house? I need to go home!" Abigail remarked again slightly raising her voice to be on a high note.
Danny who heard her voice from the rear sit gulped invisible water down his throat, his brother understood the woman he found for his boss nor did he understand his young master too. They both had a bossy attitude and liked to command others to do their bidding, he wasn't necessarily a fan of it. He felt his life was going to become messier than it already was.
Abigail's frown deepened when the man continued to ignore her, she clenched her hand into a fist trying to stop her temper from acting up on him. "Hey you at the front, are you not his assistant or something?" Abigail inquired from Danny turning her attention to him instead.
"Yes I am young miss, do you need anything?" Danny questioned, his brows creased into a frown by now.
"Good. I don't know what language your master understands or is he deaf? If he isn't then tell him I have to get down from the car, I need to go home to my apartment." Abigail stated piercing her gaze into Danny. Danny had an awkward expression on his face, he didn't know if he was supposed to cry or do something else.
"Ummmmm..... Young master, the young miss says she wants to get down from the car and go back home to her apartment." Danny hesitantly told his boss.
"Tell her that she is married to me now so for the period of our marriage, she stays in my house and not anywhere else. We do not want others thinking we broke our marriage on the first day do we?" Elias responded to Danny, his fingers still typing on his laptop...
Danny gulped, he could feel the temperature in the room dropping significantly. He felt glared poking on his back and grazing every corner of the mansion, "Does this car have a partition? if it does then put it down now." Abigail ordered in a cool voice, the frown on her face was deeper than the Atlantic Ocean.
Danny did not know what to do anymore, he only followed orders from his young master and no one else in years he was left confused. The phone in his hand beeped and he glanced down at it before pressing the partition button to separate the young master and miss from them.
At the back of the car, after Danny dropped the partition, Abigail slammed Elias's laptop closed and took it away from his hands throwing it on the ground. "Do not think am stupid or naive, you are not working on that little laptop of yours so answer my question carefully. Why do I need to stay in the same house as you?
Elias glanced at his precious laptop laying on the ground of his car, a frown settling on his face. He didn't want to speak to the overly talky woman but she won't give him any peace either, "Do married couples stay apart or together?" Elias asked with a mocking tone in his voice as he spoke.
"They stay together and so what? Those couples got married because they love each other and we do not, don't you get that? Or do I need to stick that on your head?" Abigail muttered glaring down at the man, she wondered if he was stupid or dumb. Or maybe he was both.
If the employees of the universal empire had heard her words at that moment then they would have had ad e a nosebleed. "And so what if we do not love each other? We have to stay together to prove to everyone that we love and that we are a real couple, my grandpa won't believe us if we stay apart." Elias replied running his hand through his hair.
He could feel a headache coming in on him from her rants, what a troublesome woman! Abigail thought about his words and realization dawned on her as he spoke, she did not quite understand the man she got married to but he also did not make it easy to understand him.
"Fine, we stay together I understand but I have to go take my things from my apartment. Just drop me somewhere and give me the address to your place, once I pack my things then I come to your mansion." Abigail started her kind running a sixty-meter race.
"No, you will not. I already sent someone to go get your things from your apartment, he will arrive at the house with your things." Elias murmured picking up his laptop to get back to work.
"What!?!!!!" Abigail's screams filled the car, a glint flashing through her eyes. Elias frowned at the woman's scream, she was so loud and annoying. she quickly picked up her bag and search for her phone from inside it, it was a disaster she didn't ask the man how he managed to find out where she stayed.
Picking her phone from within the bag, she sent a message to K. "Get rid of those in my apartment, someone is coming to get my things. Will explain soon." Abigail typed and sent it.
She could feel her heart running a lot of race in it, she did not feel fear but the thought of him going through her things made her angry. She did not mind him knowing who she was and what she did but it would be too troublesome for her to explain to him.
"Next time, make sure you do not go through my things or send someone to do so without my permission. I do not like my things being checked by another." Abigail said before turning her head out of the window.
Elias gazed at her and shook his head, she was trouble that too a very picky kind of trouble. His life was going to be harder than he had planned from now on.
"Also...." Abigail trailed turning his attention back to her from his thoughts, "Don't stare at me for too long, I hate it and it makes me uncomfortable." She said.
Elias frowned at her words, was she saying he was staring at her way too long? The woman was a thorn in his flesh, he could feel headaches in the days ahead.
