~~~~~ Old Man Josh's car ~~~~~
"You impudent brat, how dare you to treat that waitress like trash? Why would you behave in such a manner? So ruthless" Old man Josh spat out, tapping his stick on the floor of the car continuously.
"Chairman, she stepped on me first, and not only that she also spilled tea on me. She refused to apologize, so she called for being treated ruthlessly. She should be grateful I didn't do more than that." Elias responded his face devoid of any emotions as he spoke. He felt a bit regretful he was not able to teach the impudent girl a lesson.
"You stinky brat how many times have I told you to call me grandpa? it's been years already since I heard you call me that.... sigh you kids grow too fast." Old man Josh remarked.
Elias's expression turned placid when he heard the old man's words, he turned his head to the side glancing out of the window instead of replying to the old man's words. Although many people thought he was ruthless, he wasn't ruthless for no reason and nobody would ever find out the reason he was ruthless not ever! Elias thought.
"I know you don't want to talk to me lad, I will remain you just one thing and then go home from here. You should forget about the past already, dwelling on it won't make you happy." Old man Josh stated when he realized his grandson didn't want to speak to him.
"Grandpa you don't have to worry about me, I will be alright. you stay healthy and safe." Elias muttered a tiny bit of expression appearing on his face.
"I understand brat, remember you have a few days before presenting your wife before me. Find a girl, get married to her, and bring her to me, you have to hold a reception to prove to me how serious you are about this." Old man Josh uttered smiled reminding Elias of the terms and conditions he needed to get approved as the chairman.
"I understand grandpa, I will do that in a few days," Elias stated noting to go on a bride hunt by himself, seeing as his assistant was acting inadequate and slow.
"Get out now son, this old man needs to get some rest. Remember to come to the mansion sometime, your mother and grandma want to see you." Old man Josh uttered and shut his eyes closed, he released a few deep breaths in resignation.
Elias stepped out of the car and watched as the car drove away from the premises, his gaze held hidden thoughts and feelings in them but he said nothing. Turning around he got into his car and Danny immediately drove out of the Restaurant.
"Young master, should I head to the office or the villa?" Danny questioned slowing down the car on the highway, he knew his master was in a terrible mood at that moment.
"Take me to the villa, you may take the rest of the day off I will not be needing your help," Elias responded with his eyes shut closed and his hand placed on his brows.
"Okay, master."
~~~~~ 6 pm. ~~~~~
Abigail was awoken by the sound of her alarm ringing, she stretched her hand forward and picked up her phone from the nightstand. "Ah...." Releasing a sigh, she sat up on the bed and turned off the alarm. Her hand went through her hair before she rolled out of the bed, she glanced down at her injured arm before trotting into the bathroom.
After taking her bath, Abigail wore a mini black skirt and a turtleneck sleeve black shirt paired with black boots. Though she was living in a small and cheap apartment her clothes spoke differently about her, she picked up her phone and turned towards the door walking out.
From the couch in the living room, she picked up a long coat and wore it on her outfit. Her curves and breasts stood out on her clothes, she picked a comb and combed through her hair leaving it to sway freely behind her. As she prepared to work out of the house a message appeared on her phone with a picture attached to it.
From Unknown;
This is the man, I have sent you the address. Get close to him and marry him.
Abigail sighed and her gaze turned cold staring at the picture before she picked up her bag and things walking out of her apartment, a car stopped in front of her as she got and she opened the door and got in.
"Young Miss it's been a while, I missed you." The driver exclaimed in excitement turning around to smile at Abigail.
"I didn't miss you, dear K, why don't you drive? Sigh... I asked specifically for L." Abigail muttered her face having a slight expression on it, it was neither a smile nor a frown.
"Young miss, how can you be cruel to me? I missed you a lot" The said person called 'K' continued refusing to back off.
"Fine, I missed you too. Happy?" Abigail uttered her lips tilting into a smirk.
"Yes am happy, even if you didn't mean your words," K remarked and turned forward to drive out of the slurp area.
" How's everything going? Do you still pick a fight with the older ones?" Abigail asked trying to strike up a conversation to ease her boredom.
"Of course I do, I see it as my occupation and right to do so. Who can stop me?" K responded giggling happily.
Abigail and her driver continued conversing together till they got to a certain high-end club, named Emerald's club. "I have to go now, you may take the car on a spin but remember don't ruin my baby," Abigail ordered before climbing down...
K happily nodded and smiled, waving to the boss. After Abigail went in K excitedly turn on the car and drove off at full speed.
When Abigail got into the club, the guards stopped her asking for her identity. Abigail flashed a silver card before them and walked in since they wouldn't dare stop her.
Getting into the club, Abigail glanced around staring at the people and finding her target glancing at six o' the man was sitting right there. She turned towards the bar first and ordered a glass of cocktail swaying her hips, a lot of men turned their eyes towards her to stare at her.
"A purple cocktail please, with a drop of blood in it please," Abigail ordered flashing a seductive smile at the bartender.
The bartender blushed and handed the mixture happily, she waved to him before turning around to get to her target.
A frown settled on her face as she moved to her supposed target, a glint flashed through her eyes when she recognized the man to be someone she had seen in the day. Regardless of her thoughts, she walked up to his table with a beautiful smile on her face.
"May I sit here gentle man? that is if you don't mind a beautiful woman like me sitting close to you of course...." Abigail uttered in a short and low tone, with giggles in her tone.
The man glanced up at the woman standing before him, the dim lights made it hard for him to see her face but he nodded gesturing his hand toward the chair beside him.
