"What do you want?" Kim asked.
"What do I want?" Olivia burst into laughter. When the laughter died down, her expression turned deadly serious. "I should be asking you that. What do you want?"
"Everything you heard or saw there is clearly a misunderstanding. We can talk it out"
"I have been with Alexander for long. I was one step closer to becoming his wife but you came and ruined things for me" Olivia blurted out.
"Who could have thought you had a sharp mouth" Kim pondered as she eyed the girl.
"When I'm done with you here you'll regret getting close to Alexander"
Kim didn't want to hurt them so she took a step back getting near the door.
"I have no interest in him. You are his fiance. What happened earlier was just a misunderstanding" Kim tried to convince them.
"Disable her so she cannot get close to my man" Olivia ordered.
Soon the maid swung the long iron pole against Kim's leg which she dodged. Kim breathed out in shock. Who could have known she was this dangerous? Was love this dangerous that it would make her hurt someone?
The maid didn't stop, she swung the pole and Kim dodged it again. But the pole hit the television with full force. The glass shattered into pieces.
"Why are you not hitting her? Quick disable those legs" Olivia said slightly frustrated by the maid's sluggishness.
"Alexander won't be happy with you for ruining his belongings," Kim said.
"How dare you call my future husband by his name? Hit her legs, you can as well blind her eyes"
"When I'm done with you, you won't be able to look at Alexander with those lustful eyes. I'm sure you would end up in the hospital!" Olivia yelled.
"We can still sort things out. You misunderstood everything" Kim said as she escaped the next hit.
"You think I'm blind when I saw the videos of Alex declaring you as the First Lady?"
"I know nothing about the videos" Kim snapped.
"You know about my close relationship with Alex but you crossed the line" Olivia loudly said.
"Stay back. I do not want to hurt you" Kim said.
"Strike her leg. Make sure to break all her bones" Olivia seethed, her fingers digging deep into her skin.
"I won't tell Alexander if we settle ourselves" Kim stepped backward.
"Who told you that you'll be able to speak to him when I'm done with you?" Olivia disdainfully said.
Just then a knock was on the door making Olivia grow more annoyed.
She walked to the door and saw Tina standing there.
"The President asked me to give this to Miss" Tina bowed her head. She was surprised on seeing Olivia there.
"Go to hell!" Olivia yelled.
"If I don't give this to her I would lose my job. Please I have a family"
Olivia took the cup of coffee and poured everything on Tina.
Tina shouted at the hot coffee poured on her. Her hands trembled as she covered her mouth from shouting with her hand.
Kim shoved the maid onto the wall and made her way to the door. She pushed Olivia aside before getting out. Olivia frowned. She knew it would be impossible to hurt her outside. Alexander would come down and blame her for everything. She left with her maid back to her room.
Kim turned to the maid who was still shivering in shock.
"I'm sorry this happened to you. Is she always like that"
"Yes," Tina nodded her head slowly.
"Then she needs to visit the psychiatrist's hospital" Kim opened the door and went back to her room. She changed into a nightgown and lay down to sleep.
The heavy black curtains left a small opening from which the morning sun shone. Kim opened her eyes and sat down on the bed.
A knock was heard on the door. Kim stood up and opened the door to see a strange man.
"Hello"
"My name is Marcel. I am the President's spokesman" the man addressed himself.
"Okay?"
"He requested for you to come to see him immediately" the man opened the door wide and two girls walked inside.
"They would be your stylist for today. Have a good day" he bowed his head and left.
Once Kim was done bathing, the girls helped her with her clothes, makeup, and hair. The dress fitted her perfectly making her look sexy. She wore strappy black heels that look perfect with the dress. Her long black hair fell gracefully over her shoulder.
They escorted her out of the room to meet Alexander.
"I have good taste in women's clothes even though I am a man," he said eyeing her from head to toe.
"What do you want? Why did you call me here?"
"I have an important task for you," he said. "You'll be escorted to a village to observe the ongoing project there"
"I am not interested. You should send your mistress or men"
"And who told you I asked for your opinion?"
"Be a good girl and go there. The men will be waiting for you outside. Do you think becoming the first Lady is all about eating and sleeping? Now go!"
Kim opened the door hesitantly and went outside to where the men were standing. They opened the car door for her and drove to the village. It was a one-hour journey and when they arrived, they all stepped out of the car.
Another group of men dressed expensively was there. Each of them was holding a book. The men were confused at the presence of the lady. They wearily stared at her. How could the President bring someone who knew nothing about the project here? Why didn't he bring Olivia instead of her?
Kim frowned as she looked around. Alexander knew she was going to this kind of place but he sent high heels for her. Her shoes dug into the ground soaked in mud.
"This way Miss" they led her to an open field.
She looked at the men who were frowning. They thought she was an illiterate. She knew some things about a project like this because of the little amount of time she spent in the University.
"How much is the cost?" she asked.
"The average cost is 200 million. 50 million would be used for buying the materials to build it" they handed the project book to her which she began to review.
The proposal was to open a big tourist attraction in the village. But she doubt if the water was clean considering the muddy area.
Just as she was about to ask, some group of people ran to them holding objects. Before they knew it, one of them used the log of wood to hit on the men's back. They all took off running in different directions.
It was a struggle for Kim to run wearing high heels. There was no time to pull the shoes as the villagers were beating up some of the men. Maybe this was her chance to escape.
She ran into the forest not daring to look behind. She didn't know what the villagers had with the people but she could see that they were very angry. The forest was dark and the only noise heard was the chirping of birds.
When she heard no footsteps of the villagers, she bent down and pulled her shoe. She ran with bare feet stepping on sharp objects. She wasn't familiar with the place so she headed straight.
The farther she ran, the more fear shook inside her. What if there were wild animals here?
At one point, she kicked a stone and fell on the wet ground. The mud stick to her dress making her frown. She stood up and continued running. This was her only chance of escaping. She didn't know how far she had to run to reach the next village.
Kim looked up and saw the change in the sky color. In less than two minutes, rain poured down. The rain poured on her washing the dirt off her dress.
She ran for another five minutes before finally reaching the next village.
