The table stretched from the starting of the room to the end revealing different dishes of all sort of color and aromas.
There were rice porridge, apple pie, spaghetti Bolognese and so many other dishes.
The maids bowed their heads respectfully before serving them. Presented before Kim was rice porridge.
Alexander saw that she hadn't started to eat so he asked, "Is the food not to your liking?"
Kim lifted the spoon to her mouth pretending to eat. When in reality she was holding a staring competition with Olivia.
Olivia hated the girl so much. For one because she was the reason she was sent back into the house. Two because she felt threatened that the position as the President's future wife was slowly slipping out of her hand.
When lunch was over, Alexander dragged Kim back to the garden. Kim frowned but nonetheless she couldn't go against him. She can't watch herself being eaten up by crocodiles.
She looked up at Alexander. Didn't he have somewhere to go? The people needed him but instead of him to go he wasted his time with her.
"Why are you quiet? Is it because I told you to jump inside the pool?" Alexander asked.
"I am a quiet person and don't like talking much" she denied despite the fact that she was a talkative and sharp-tongued person.
"Hmph I refuse to believe you" he said.
Kim turned her head away from him where she could get her mind else were instead of looking at his face.
Alexander plucked a tiny rose flower and placed it behind her ears. "It suits you"
Kim turned to look at him as he placed another rose behind her other ear.
"If you continue looking at me with those eyes I will think you're already in love with me" Alexander said.
Kim quickly turned her eyes to look at the trees.
"Did my words suddenly made you shy? I wonder how you'll react if I kiss those rosy lips"
Kim ignored his comment and walked away. Alexander didn't bother to call her back he knew they would end up arguing until one has their way.
"You're becoming more and more disobedient. Walking away from the President" he mused seeing her hasten her footsteps when she saw that he was following her.
"Don't you have other things to do?" Kim turned to ask.
"No but for you dear, have all my time" he replied.
Kim ignored him and went inside her room. She picked the book up and began to read. After some time, she fell asleep and later woke up when it was evening .
She rubbed her eyes before standing and headed for the bathroom. After she was done bathing, she tied a towel round her chest and walked outside. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. She opened it and saw the maids holding bags of new clothes.
"What is this for?" she asked.
"The president asked us to get you ready. The both of you will be having dinner somewhere else" the maids said.
Kim opened the door wide and allowed them get in. "Okay just put them on the bed and go"
"He told us to dress you up"
"What?"
"Yes let us get you ready" they dropped the bags on the bed and unpack them. Pulling out the clothes one after the other, the others began brushing her hair.
"You don't have to worry I can dress myself" Kim said. The door flung open and Alexander walked inside. He was dressed in a tailor-made suit that fitted his body perfectly.
"You must have a good sleep" he said to Kim. "Leave us"
"Okay so which of these dress will you want to wear?" Alexander said opening the bags.
"What are you planning to do?" Kim stepped backwards and tightened the towel around her chest.
"Get you dressed up. Since you're shy for the maids dressing you I would do it myself"
"You must be insane." Kim cursed.
"Yes only for you" he picked the red gown and turned to Kim. "Come forward"
When he saw her hesitation, he walked to her. "Raise your legs"
"I can dress up by myself" she tightened the towel around her chest.
"Don't do that. You'll only make me want you more" he chuckled.
Kim grabbed the dress from him forcefully and went inside the bathroom. She wore the lacy classy red gown given to her and stepped out.
….
When the black limousine pulled up at the hotel, there was a bright red carpet laid out for them. Velvet ropes guarded it to prevent people from coming close to them.
Blinding flashes greeted them, followed by the loud screams and noisy chatters from reporters and socialites. The person were left speechless as they saw how expensive and elegant she looked. Was she once a soldier? Are you sure she wasn't a rich heiress?
Kim ignored the stares and shouts as she slightly tilted her head to Alexander who wrapped his hand around her waist.
The bodyguards swarmed around them protecting them from the people and leading them to the private elevator.
They took the elevator to the hotel suit which was quite bigger for the two of them. The bodyguards locked the door and stood like soldiers with their heads raised high.
Kim walked towards the other end of the table and sat down close to Alexander. There was different food and drinks lined up on the table enough to contain fifteen people.
She took a spoonful of the rice porridge and ate. Alexander raised his head to look up to him.
"Does it tastes good? They're cooked by top chefs of this country," Alexander said.
"Yes" she nodded her head.
As she stared at him, she noticed the stain of food on the corner of his mouth. She picked the wipe and raised her hand to wipe it off surprising Alexander.
"There's food on your face. Let me wipe it for you," she said.
"How about you use your lips to wipe it off." He smirked. "Are you shy? Okay let me help you to do it."
Kim quickly dropped the wipe and continued to eat. Without warning, his lips crashed down to her.
