Nathaniel sat on his bed, staring at the ceiling as he reminisced about his old life in the big city.
He missed his friend Kevin and the adventures they used to have together. They would spend hours exploring the city and discovering new places to hang out. Nathaniel also missed his old school, with its challenging curriculum and vibrant student body.
Life had been so much easier back then; he'd had everything, including his father's protection and his own identity. But now, everything had changed. Nathaniel's family was now in a crisis and they had been forced to move to a small town to start over.
His father was working hard to get things back on track, but it seemed like there was always one problem after another. Nathaniel sighed and closed his eyes, wishing that things could go back to the way they used to be. He wanted to go back to the big city, to his old school and his old life. But he knew that wasn't possible, at least not for now.
