Nathaniel and Rose rushed into the hospital, their footsteps echoing through the sterile white hallways. Rose's heart was racing as she thought about Grace, who was probably lying in a hospital bed somewhere in the building. She couldn't imagine what could have happened to her friend and why she was in the hospital.
She made sure she left Grace's home so late last night and she was fine; though she wasn't the type to self harm but no one can say.
The hospital was bustling with activity, doctors and nurses rushing around, patients being wheeled on gurneys, and worried families pacing in the waiting room. The smell of antiseptic filled the air, and the sound of beeping machines made Rose's head spin.
Her mind drifted back to those horrible days, she was admitted for a week because Grace had accidentally broke her arm. It was an experience she never wants to experience again.
