________________________________
Tomioka Giyuu, unable to handle his grief, hangs himself and is brought to a room with two goddesses, One being the Goddess of Night; Utaitsuku-sama and the Goddess of Death; Mio-sama. Utaitsuku-sama takes Giyuu to 'Shisha no Riku' the land of the dead for him to rest peacefully and for him to be with the people he loves again.
Act one: Goodbye
The black haired male with light, clear skin stood on a black, leather stool which brought him above the ground, the thick rope which he attached to the roof made his hands temple as he tied it up as a noose, slowly he put it around his neck and took a breath. He gulped, fear washing over him as he kicked back the chair and grabbed onto the rope wrapped tightly around his neck.
It hurt- it burned, he couldn't breathe, his throat hurt, his eyes hurt. The tears welled up and started to fall. Maybe this wasn't the best way to go out, he kept grabbing at the rope, trying to remove it, he couldn't focus, everything was getting blurry due to the tears and pain, he was gasping for air.
All of a sudden a loud 'snap' sounds through the building, his neck snapped, hands dropping to his sides and his pale face now holding lifeless voids for eyes, the last tear rolled down his cheek and dropped onto the wooden floor-boards below him. What a lovely day today is.
The clouds turned grey and the world was covered in rain, tears from the sky here there were people grieving the death of a college student.
May Tomioka Giyuu rest in peace.
Act two: Lost
Tomioka Giyuu awoke with a pain in his throat and neck, as if something was back out of place, someone grabbed his head from behind snapped it to the side, his neck falling back into place.
"Ow.." he grumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck, turning to face the person who had fixed his neck up, they were short, had a purple vail hiding their face, long black hair and blue eyes with red sclera behind them. Her skin was soft looking and pale as if she had been cleaning her face non-stop for years, when she opened her mouth you could see her fangs.
"Welcome, Tomioka Giyuu." The woman- well teenager was wearing a purple kimono with a white butterfly pattern down the bottom of it and at the tips of her sleeves, the obijime which sat around her waist was white with a small gold spring wrapped around it with flowers and pearls attached to the rope. "We've been expecting you, for a long time actually."
The woman's voice was as sweet as sugar, her eyes were gentle and kind, her hands were clutching a small golden pendent "this is a token to say you're a permanent resident here, not just a visitor." she smiled, her fangs poking out from behind her pink lips. Another teenage female helped Giyuu to stand.
She had long black hair which matched the other girls and matching blue eyes with red sclera which gave Giyuu the creeps, reminding him of solidified blood. He looked over her clothing; she wore a blue kimono which was covered mostly by a black haori (which had red details). He looked over her face again and noticed their skin tones and textures.
"Utaitsuku Oneesan" The girl with the purple kimono said softly, gently pinning the golden token to Giyuu's shirt chest "will be taking you into the city you'll be living in for the rest of your undead life." The girl smiled and took a step back, she wasn't wearing any shoes unlike her blue sister who wore red shoes which seemed to have the night sky trapped in the souls.
"Hai!" she smiled and took Giyuu's hand, leading him outside "Mio Oneesan, how far shall I take him into the city?"
"Korwareta ishi wo mireta, kaerimire."
Utaitsuku-sama nodded and walked out of the building all together, leading Giyuu to a boat, a small row boat which will lead you past the gates and to your new home, Giyuu had no idea what his new home would look like but at least he was going to see his sister and lover again.. Hopefully.
The woman helped Giyuu onto the rowboat and stood on the back seat, grabbing the ore and pushing off from the land, the boat now out on the open, murky water which could have anything hiding beneath it "what lies beneath is Ai's territory, though you may know stories of her being referred to as 'Jigoku Shouji'." the woman said, now emotion on her face as she spoke.
Maybe he would have preferred to be on a boat with Mio?
The rest of the ride was silent, Utaitsuku-sama seemed to be at peace as she stroked the ore through the murky depths which was coloured a misty-grey-green colour even Giyuu couldn't name. "The stones are up ahead, I'll have to leave you there, but once you cross the bridge you'll find what you're looking for."
The stones which were spoken about earlier were indeed only a few rows of the ore away, once she stopped Giyuu could stand up and leave the boat, besides him was a bridge which had 'Shisha no Riku' written above it with 'Tsukuyomi' under it in brackets, apparently this land had been based off of the city in japan.
Giyuu slowly started how way towards the bridge, a lost soul finding its way home, Utaitsuku-sama smiled and pushed away from the broken stones which she couldn't stand on "Please, find peace here Tomioka Giyuu." and with that the woman faded off into a endless fog of the mucky green-grey clouds.
Act Three: Home.
Giyuu walked across the long, wide bridge made of a wood he had never seen before, it was a black wood which had purple wisteria flowers hanging off the sides, leaving the vibrant colour of purple in the water below, he could feel something lifting off his back as he walked, he could feel his body relax and the pain in his throat go away.
Across the bridge he could see a mop of white hair, two mops of long black hair and three welcoming smiles, tears welled up in his eyes and he ran. Giyuu ran the rest of the way, hoping they would wait for him to get there, so he would be able to hug them all. Sanemi opened his arms as Giyuu ran at him full force.
"Nemi!" a sob escaped the smaller, black haired male's lips as he launched himself towards the man, colliding with his chest and being pulled close and having three pairs of arms wrapped around him, he was home.
Tomioka Giyuu was home with his sisters and lover, he was home now.
He was safe and at home.
