Bella was happy to be back at Red House. This time, she asked Reef to stay in her former room on the second floor. It was smaller than the guest room on the first floor, but somehow had timeless memories. Bella has lived in that room since she was a toddler. When she was in kindergarten, Aunt Ruth used to come to her room every night at eight o'clock to check if Bella was asleep. Sometimes Bella would ask Aunt Ruth to read her a story. Aunt Ruth never refused. She would pick up a thick H.C Andersen fairy tale book as Bella's fifth birthday present from her father.
Bella's favorite story was Sleeping Beauty. When she was getting sleepy, with her eyes half closed, Bella would ask. "Aunt Ruth, will a prince wake me up tomorrow?" Aunt Ruth would smile and say yes.
