Kylie hadn't made an unannounced appearance at his office in a long time, so when she barged into his office that afternoon as usual, Reef was quite surprised.
"Hola!" she greeted cheerfully. Reef who was getting ready to go to lunch and still reading the few reports left on his desk looked up and stared at Kylie's wide smile directed at him. "I came to take you to lunch, if you don't have any appointments."
Reef set aside the report documents on his desk and sighed. "Why the hell, you never knock on the door?"
Kylie's beautifully arched eyebrows rose, her lips pursed in amusement. "Why?" she asked. "You don't want to be caught kissing a girl during work hours? That sort of thing you've left behind since Bella came back, hasn't it?"
Reef sighed again. "Please. Don't say things like that in front of Bella."
"Of course I'm not that bad." Kylie pretended to be offended. "Whose side do you think I'm on?"
