The first thing Bella had to do was contact Kylie to ask for her help in organizing the dinner. Actually, she had another option, which was to ask her two best friends, Mariel and Brenda, for help. However, she thought Kylie might be more experienced since she used to be part of the socialites in her old life in L.A.
Bella had made an appointment with Kylie for lunch at a restaurant not far from her flower shop. Kylie had arrived first and was already seated waiting at the table she had chosen. It happened to be next to a large window overlooking the street, and Bella liked Kylie's choice.
"Hello, darling!" Kylie greeted her. Her arm reached out to Bella's, pulling her in and giving her a warm peck on the cheek. "We haven't seen each other since we arrived in Saco. Are you okay? How's Reef's leg?"
