Bella realizes that her visit to Saco this time has a much different purpose than before. She had several agendas to pursue, all of which boiled down to one thing: money laundering at Reef's office.
As a lawyer's daughter, although she had no legal education, Bella knew that money laundering was a serious economic crime. Often the FBI intervenes directly and arrests the perpetrators if they do not cooperate or surrender to the authorities. Bella did not want to see Reef arrested and handcuffed. She wouldn't stand it. She would have fainted.
