"OH MARY YOU BITCH!!!" "HOW CAN YOU KISS YOUR BOSS OUT OF ALL PEOPLE!" To be honest I wish I was dead at this moment. How can I go to work and face my boss after what I did last night, this is why I stoped drinking because of this bad habit of mine. God must really hate me, my life is a mess now. I might even lose my Job! "HOW CAN THIS FUCKING HAPPEN TO ME!!!"
—————-
When I got to work I just wanted to end my life right here right now. How can I handle seeing him face to face.
I spent minutes thinking on how I was going to face my boss but he suddenly walked in on me looking like a dead beat bat. "Sir!" I got up quickly fixing my hair, "Good morning." I bowed to him. "Meet me in my office." He said in a cold tone as he entered the office. I scream in silent and out of frustration scared of what he was going to say to me. "Someone kill me."
I nervously walked in the office fidgeting my fingers and tried to convince myself that nothing was going to happen.
"You know what you did last night was unacceptable right?" He asked, "Yes sir," I replied my head facing down. "I need you to look at me while I'm speaking to you!" He said in a demanding way. I slowly lifted my head and looked up at him. "Since you were drunk last night I'll let it pass, but if next time this happens I won't let you slide this easily." He told me, "They will be no next time sir." I told him, "Great, now you may leave." He ordered, I bowed to him and walked out of the office.
As I closed the door behind me I held my chest sighing in relief. I really thought this was the day I was going to lose my job.
Relieved that I hadn't lost my job, I returned to my desk, trying to regain my composure. The weight of my reckless actions from the previous night still hung heavily on my conscience. It was a wake-up call, a stark reminder of why I had quit drinking in the first place.
Over the next few days, i focused on the launching of the new swimsuit set that we had designed for the summer set. 'Oh, I must have forgotten to mention that I worked at a clothing company.' Yup, I work at Haute Haven. One of the biggest clothing brand in the world.
This year's summer launch was so anticipated by our customers that we had over 60% pre orders. I think this is the biggest sales out of all the pre sales on seasonal occasions. Since the pre orders were higher this year the company was very busy.
...…
"What! How can our female model cancel last minute!?" I asked shocked by the sud news, "I don't know ma'am, she just called us right now and canceled." "WELL YOU BETTER FIND A NEW MODEL VERY FAST!" I exclaimed as I hung up the call. Now how was I going to tell the boss this. Maybe I just won't tell him.
As I was about to sit down he suddenly called me in to the office. I sighed as I slowly walked into his office. "Send me all the photos the models took so far." He requested, "there's a little problem sir," I said nervously, "and what is that?" He asked "The female model canceled last minute so they haven't started the shoot sir." I told him. "And how can this happen Mary?" He asked sounding very stressed, "I don't know sir but im finding a new model quickly sir." I replied, "please do it quickly or else." He stated.
I quickly got out of the office and called the design team. "If you don't don't find a model in the next two days consider yourself fired Stephanie." I said as ended the call.
The pressure was on as I rushed to find a replacement model for our summer swimsuit launch. Stephanie, my contact in the design team, knew that her job was on the line if we didn't find a model within the next two days.
We began scouring our contacts, modeling agencies, and social media networks for potential candidates. It was a race against time, and the tension in the office was palpable. Every passing hour brought us closer to the deadline, and I couldn't afford to let my boss down again.
Days turned into nights as we conducted auditions and castings. Finally, just when it seemed like all hope was lost, we stumbled upon a gem. A talented and experienced model, Lisa, was available at the last minute. She had the perfect look and charisma for our summer campaign.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I secured Lisa for the photoshoot. With her on board, we could finally proceed with the summer launch preparations. The team worked tirelessly to make up for the lost time, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
The day of the photoshoot arrived, and the atmosphere was electric. Lisa's presence brought a new level of professionalism and elegance to the set. The photographers captured breathtaking shots, and the swimsuits looked even more stunning than we had hoped.
As the sun set on the successful photoshoot, I couldn't help but reflect on the rollercoaster of events that had transpired. From my personal crisis to the last-minute model cancellation, it had been a challenging journey. But in the end, we had persevered and delivered a remarkable campaign.
When I presented the final photos and designs to my boss, he was impressed with the results. "You've redeemed yourself, Mary," he said, surprising me with his compliment. "This campaign is outstanding."
I couldn't have been happier with his words. It was a moment of redemption, not only for the campaign but also for myself.
He stood up from his seat and walked up to me. "Sometimes I think of firing you but, then again where can I find an assistant like you?" He stroked my hair, "Someone who over thinks everything, some one who curses at everything, someone who's mentally ill but is still hard working." "Also not to mention on how cute and sexy you are." He stated with a slight smirk on his face.
"Should I take this as a compliment?" I asked confused and taken back by his words. "You should, after all I'm the one who's complimenting you." He remarked, "Thank you I guess." I replied nervously. "That's a good girl." He patted my head with a slight smile. Suddenly by surprise his lips were on my lips and he was kissing me.
I was completely taken aback by my boss's unexpected kiss. It was a moment of utter shock and confusion, just a few weeks ago he was on me about crossing the line but now here he is kissing me in his office. The rollercoaster of emotions I had experienced over the past few days had left me feeling vulnerable, and this added a new layer of complexity to the situation.
As he pulled away, he looked into my eyes, his expression unreadable. "You're such a cutie," he said softly. "There's no one that can compare to you, Mary."
I didn't know how to respond. My mind was racing, and I felt a mix of emotions — surprise, curiosity, and a hint of attraction. But I also couldn't ignore the fact that this was my boss, and his actions were highly inappropriate.
"I appreciate your kind words, sir," I stammered, trying to regain my composure. "But I think it's important to maintain a professional relationship in the workplace."
He chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "You're right, Mary. We should keep it professional." He patted my shoulder and walked out. I was left standing there taken back by everything.
