After thinking I was really fired I was back at the same desk dealing with the same bullshit. David really had a way to to make someone go crazy, the levels of confusion I've been at because of this are countless. Now that I've told him that I will consider a relationship with him as long as he keeps his weirdness to himself but, I guess that made him more weirder then ever. I can admit that i had a big crush on him ever since I started working for him, and when we started our secret fling I enjoyed every bit of it. But everything took a big toll on me so obviously I had to set some ground rules.
Also to admit, I kinda like how he has changed. It's kinda cute to see him longing for my attention.

"Thank you!" I ended the call and went back to typing on my computer. A few minutes later a figure appeared in front of me, I slowly looked up and it was a tall fair skin guy. He almost looked like the Boss. "Aren't you a cutie." He blurted out, "huh?" "Can I help you sir?" I asked, "Yes, I'm here to see your boss." He replied, "give me a minute." I said as I grabbed the phone and called the boss. "Yes sir, there's a man here for you." I told him, "Okay sir, you may go in." I told the guy as I ended the call. The guy smirked at me and entered the office. "What a weird guy." I mumbled.
Third person POV:
"What a cute assistant you have there David," the guy said as he entered the office, "your very funny." David looking at him with a straight face, "look at you already claiming your territory." He chuckled, "What do you want Felix?" He asked, "Is that a way to greet your best bud." "Get to the point." He told him.
Felix leaned casually against David's desk, a sly grin on his face. "Alright, alright, no need to be so serious," he said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "I heard you've been keeping secrets lately, my friend."
David sighed, rubbing his temples. "I knew this would come up sooner or later," he muttered. "Look, Felix, it's complicated. I've got a lot on my plate right now."
Felix chuckled and crossed his arms. "Complicated? That's the understatement of the century. So, are you going to tell me what's going on or make me dig for information like a nosy detective?"
David hesitated for a moment, then decided to share a bit. "Fine, you win. It's about my assistant. We've...well, we've developed a certain kind of relationship."
"Oh that's your new little toy huh?" He smirked, "she's not a toy Felix!" "Ha, says the one that has different girls in his bed every night." He remarked.
David frowned at Felix's comment, defending his actions. "It's not like that, Felix. This is different. We actually have something real going on."
Felix raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "Real? As in, you're actually into her? That's surprising, David. You've never been one to settle down."
David sighed, realizing that explaining his feelings was going to be a challenge. "It's complicated, okay? I do care about her, and it's not just about physical attraction. But maintaining this relationship while keeping everything else together at work is becoming a real challenge."
Felix smirked knowingly. "Ah, the complexities of mixing business with pleasure. You're treading on dangerous ground, my friend. So, what's the plan?"
David leaned in closer, his voice hushed. "I need to figure out how to balance this. She's set ground rules, and I want to make this work without jeopardizing our jobs."
Felix grinned mischievously. "Well, you've always been resourceful. Let's brainstorm, David. Maybe we can come up with a strategy that keeps both your professional life and your 'relationship' intact." "And if that doesn't work I can take her to myself." He smirked. David narrowed his eyes at Felix, not appreciating the idea of his friend potentially meddling with his assistant-turned-romantic-interest. "Felix, hands off. She's not a pawn in our little games."
Felix chuckled, raising his hands defensively. "Hey, I'm just messing with you, but who knows since you guys haven't became a thing yet or done anything I can maybe snatch her from you." "Just to tell you, I know every inch of her body." He told him, "look at the big guy already marking his territory." He smiled
David's frustration with Felix's teasing grew, but he tried to maintain his composure. "Felix, I've asked you to stay out of this. I appreciate your friendship, but I won't tolerate any interference."
Felix couldn't help but chuckle at David's stern expression. "Alright, alright, I get it. I won't mess with your 'territory."

After hours of being in the office the guy finally came out. He had this flirtatious smirk on his face when he came out. "Nice to see you sweet heart, see you next time." He smiled as he walked away. What a weird guy. Suddenly Boss shouted my name. "What did I do now." I sighed as I got up and entered the office.
As I entered David's office, i couldn't help but wonder what new twist your day would take. David was sitting behind his desk, looking somewhat exasperated.
"Close the door," he instructed, and i did as he asked.
"What's going on now?" I asked, feeling a sense of weariness settling in.
David leaned back in his chair, sighing deeply. "That guy who just left... that's Felix. He's an old friend and a bit of a troublemaker."
I raised an eyebrow, curious. "Felix? He seemed like quite the character. What did he want?"
David hesitated for a moment, then decided to be straightforward. "Felix has a knack for stirring things up, especially when it comes to me. He was teasing me about...us."
My heart skipped a beat, realizing that Felix had some inkling about your secret relationship with David. "Oh, that's...interesting. What did you tell him?"
David looked at me with a mix of concern and determination. "I told him to stay out of it, that you're not a pawn in our games. But he's relentless when he wants something."
I nodded, feeling a sense of unease about Felix's potential interference. "I hope he doesn't cause any trouble."

One afternoon as I was using the bathroom two of the lady's walked in and it seemed like they were talking about Stephanie and a guy. Since I was still in the bathroom stall I stayed there and listened the the conversation.
"Did you see the guy that came in yesterday?" One lady asked, "Yeah, he was so hot!" "We'll do you know that he and Stephanie have something going on." "What do you mean?" The other one asked, "well, they used to have a secret fling," "Also the baby she had belongs to him." She exposed, "how do you know this?" The other lady asked, "When we were close back then she told me everything. He was the first guy she has ever slept with."
Shocked from what I was hearing i couldn't help but think how they met. Stephanie. and I only met when I started working here, and i knew she had a kid. But I never expected the father of her child to be Felix.
Once the ladies walked out i oh came out of the stall washed my hand and went back to work. The thought still lingered in my head, or maybe they were talking about a different guy that came in yesterday. I waited until Boss came back so I could ask him, since they are close friends he has to know everything.
After a few minutes he came back looking somewhat angry. Guess he didn't like what they presented in the meeting today. "How did it go sir?" I asked, "Shitty." He replied in his cold deep voice. "I have a question sir," i stopped him as he was about to embêter his office, "And what is that?" He asked, "Does Felix have a kid?" He raised an eyebrow confused at the answer. "Yes, why?" "Is it a boy or a girl?" I asked. "Why are you asking all these questions about his personal life?" "Are you interested or something?" He stated, "I was just curious, i didn't think he had kids since he doesn't look like the type to settle down." I said nervously, "His not, his not with his baby mama. But he does take the child sometimes and spend some time with him." He replied, "Ok that's great, that's all i wanted to know."
He suddenly came up to me and turned my chair facing him. "You know i dont appreciate the fact that your asking me about another guy who's my friend." "Do you find interest in him or what?" He asked, "No sir, i was just curious that's all." I replied nervously.
David's piercing gaze seemed to linger on me for a moment longer, making me feel uneasy. "Curiosity can lead to trouble, you know," he said cryptically before returning to his desk. "Now, back to work."
I nodded, slightly flustered by the unexpected intensity of his response. As I resumed my tasks, I couldn't shake off the revelation about Felix's involvement with Stephanie and her child. It was a piece of her life I hadn't expected to uncover, and it left me with more questions than answers.
