Chapter 6 - Lion Devil is trying to win my heart

It's been two weeks since I stopped the confusion relationship between my boss and I and it looks like that rejection gave him more courage then I thought. He will call me into his office almost every minute to just interrogate me. He'll ask me personal questions like, what types of guys I'm into, or what my favorite thing to do on weekends, or the most ridiculous question like if I like soft or rough men. LIKE WHICH BOSS ASKES THEIR ASSISTANT THESE KINDS OF THINGS?!! But today was absolutely crazy.

This morning he called me into his office and pinned me against the wall.

"What now?" I asked, "I still don't get why you suddenly ended things Mary." He replied, "Sir I didn't end anything, I just made a stopped to the scandalous things we did." I stated, "and why is that, didn't you like it? Did you not like it when i made you cry while you moved your hips up and down on me?" He asked, "Sir, that's really outrageous. Your not being very professional right now sir." I told, "what, you seemed to like it when I thrust it deep in you." He remarked. That was it I couldn't take it anymore. "SIR, this is enough!" I exclaimed as I walked out of the office.

Not only was the morning hard for me, the whole day was hell. I had to deal with him for more then I needed to!

But luckily now I'm home and I won't have to face him. As I was finally about to lay in bed there was a sudden knock on the door. "WHO THE HELL CAN THAT BE AT THIS MOMENT OF NIGHT!" I shouted. I took a deep breath and headed to the door trying to cool my head down before I bursted into flames.

Once I opened the door, there he was standing at my door with several bags in his hands. "What are you doing here sir?" I asked, "I realized what the problem was," he said as he pushed through me and walked into the apartment. "And what is that?" I asked curious, "The problem is that I'm your boss and your my employee so I'm firing you." He dropped the bomb. "What!" I gasped, "Since the problem is that your my assistant I fire you and I want you to be my girl." He stated, "Don't be ridiculous sir, how can you say that!" I exclaimed, "Well it's a win win for both of us, you won't have to lift a finger a finger for the rest of your life and I get the girl of my dreams." He remarked. How dumb can he be, how can he just fire me because he wants me to me his girlfriend. Rich people are ridiculously dumb. "Sir please be serious right now,". "I am being serious, I told you Mary. If I don't get what I want I won't back down."

My mind raced as I stood there, trying to process the absurdity of the situation. My boss had just fired me, not because of my performance but because he wanted me to be his girlfriend. It was a power play like I had never seen before. I had to tread carefully to navigate this precarious situation.

"Sir, I can't just accept this," I said firmly, trying to maintain my composure. "A relationship should be built on mutual feelings and respect, not as a result of firing someone."

He smirked, clearly undeterred by my words. "Mary, I have the resources to make your life incredibly comfortable. You won't have to worry about anything."

I took a step back, feeling a mix of anger and disbelief. "Money can't buy love or happiness, sir. Besides, this is highly unprofessional, and it's making me uncomfortable." "If you want to fire me fine, but I won't take the offer of being your girlfriend Sir!" "And why is that?" He asked. "Don't you see this is an insane way to ask someone to be your girlfriend!" I remarked.

His expression shifted from smugness to frustration as he realized I wasn't going to be swayed by his wealth or power plays. I could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to figure out how to salvage the situation.

"Mary, you don't understand. I've never met anyone like you," he said, attempting a more sincere tone. "I know I've been out of line, but I genuinely have feelings for you."

I crossed my arms, maintaining my resolve. "Feelings don't excuse your behavior, sir. If you want to pursue a relationship, it has to start on equal footing, with respect and consent, not by using your position to manipulate me."

He sighed, realizing that his tactics weren't working. "Then what can I do to make you be my girl?!" He asked frustrated,

I hesitated, contemplating his question for a moment. There was a part of me that was skeptical about his sincerity, given his previous behavior, but I decided to give him a chance to prove himself.

"First and foremost," I began, "you need to understand that respect and professionalism must always come first in the workplace. No more inappropriate comments or actions."

He nodded, appearing genuinely contrite. "I promise, Mary, I'll keep our professional boundaries intact."

I continued, "Secondly, we need to get to know each other outside of this office, without any pressure or expectations. Let's go on a few dates and see if there's a genuine connection."

He seemed taken aback by the idea of dating like a normal couple, but he agreed. "Alright, I'm willing to do that."

I took a deep breath, still cautious but willing to see if he could change. "And finally, if we do decide to pursue a relationship, it should be based on shared feelings and mutual respect, not because of your wealth or my job."

He looked at me earnestly. "I understand, Mary. I'll do my best to show you that my intentions are genuine."

With those conditions laid out, we decided to give it a try, cautiously stepping into the unknown territory of a personal relationship. It was a risky move, but I was determined to see if he could truly change and if we could build something meaningful together, starting from a clean slate.
