As Greg delivered the food bags in batches, the bomb was detonated in the village. Panic and confusion set in among the villagers.
"Where did Greg get this much food at one time?" one villager asked.
"What the hell happened at night when we were sleeping?" another inquired.
"Can anyone tell me what's going on here?" echoed a third.
The villagers were left with more questions than answers. They turned to Greg for an explanation, but he was just as clueless as they were.
"We will tell you everything," Greg said. "But first, let me bring all the food here."
However, as they waited for Greg to return with the rest of the food and answers, one of the villagers pointed out that many of their people were missing. Sohan, Ajay, Noeli, and others were nowhere to be found.
As for Noah, they don't care, Despite Noah's contributions to the village, even if he has killed two of the gangster in a previous operation and gathered information about the gang, some of the villagers still didn't trust him. Some were neutral towards him, and only a few cared about him enough to look for him.
The villagers' unrest and uncertainty only made the situation more complicated. The high priest stepped forward to restore order and commanded everyone's attention.
"Silence," he said. "Let me tell you what's going on here."
The villagers quieted down and listened intently as the high priest explained the real plan.
"As everyone knows, we were going to attack the gangster's villa in two days. However, that was just misleading information. The real plan was to attack the gangsters at today night with only 10 people team. Now that Greg has returned, I believe they have destroyed the gang. We will have to wait for him and others to return for specific information."
Hearing this news, the villagers were shocked, especially one figure hidden in the crowd. After a few moments of silence, everyone's emotions boiled over, and they waited anxiously for the others to return, uncertain about what would happen next.
As the villagers waited for the return of the others, tensions rose. Alia couldn't shake the worry she felt about Noah's safety. She approached the high priest with a concerned look on her face.
"High priest, what about Noah? Is he also participating in the attack?" Alia asked.
The high priest nodded in confirmation. "Yes, he is the one who came up with this plan, so he will be participating," he replied.
Alia's heart sank at the news, but she felt somewhat relieved to know that Noah was involved in the plan.
The other villagers were also shocked by the high priest's revelations. They anxiously waited for the others to return with more information, hoping that everything would turn out well.
"Greg, tell us when will all the others return," one of the villagers asked, trying to alleviate their anxiety.
"Don't worry, the next batch should be the last one," Greg replied before leaving to bring the last of the food.
As the day dragged on, the villagers became more anxious about the situation. They couldn't help but think about what could have happened to their missing companions and what kind of trouble they were facing.
Rising sun rays fall on a group of people who are moving toward the village in which some are injured but they still moved forward while supporting.
When they are able to see the village in distance.
Sohan spoke "Finally we are back, this mission took a complete night, and we haven't thought that it would take this much time"
"It's really a thrilling mission," Ajay said.
Little by little they reached the village.
Finally, as the sun began to rise, they saw a group of people approaching from the distance. As the group drew closer, they could see that Noah and the other missing villagers were among them. The villagers erupted in cheers, relieved to see that they were all safe.
As the group arrived, they were greeted by a crowd of anxious and excited villagers. The group included Noah, Sohan, Ajay, and Noeli, as well as a few others.
"Tell us what happened! Are the gangsters gone?" someone shouted from the crowd.
Noah stepped forward to address the villagers. "We did it. The gangsters are no more," he said, a hint of pride in his voice.
The villagers erupted in cheers once again, overjoyed at the news. They thanked Noah and the others for their bravery and dedication, grateful that their village was safe once again.
Seeing everyone is still in the mood to celebrate High priest spoke "Let everyone take a seat first and help treat those who are injured, bring something to eat and drink for them."
As the celebrations died down, the villagers gathered around to hear the details of the successful mission.
"Let Noah give the details of this operation, without him this mission would have failed and we may not be able to return alive," Greg spoke
"Yes, without Noah this mission we can declare as failed, so I also think that Noah should give the details" Sohan spoke in favor of Noah
"I also want to know how he has created that opportunity for us to attack, Noah, speak," Ajay Said
Villagers become shocked again by this, seeing everyone who has gone on this mission is supporting and talking in favor of Noah, they have got a little good impression of Noah, and their attitude also becomes milder towards him.
With everyone voicing and supporting Noah, Noah also stood up and recounted the events that had unfolded during the operation, how he had managed to infiltrate the gang's stronghold undetected, and how he had managed to take down the two gangsters one by one without being caught while they are sleeping.
"Then I searched other rooms and came across this food reserve and rather than burning this we brought back them to the village, so I left to check another room and find a fuel bottle which I used to burn the gangster's body and created chaos in the villa and got the opportunity to attack."
Then Noah recounted how Greg and his team fought with bravery and how we dealt with gangsters one by one.
The villagers were impressed by the skill and bravery of their fellow villagers, and they felt grateful to have such capable protectors watching over them. They thanked Noah and the others once again, promising to never forget their contributions to the village's safety.
They also got a better impression of Noah and at least they are not opposed to Noah now.
As the night grew darker, the villagers started to disperse, heading back to their homes with a newfound sense of security. Alia walked back with Noah, grateful to have him back safe and sound.
Alia is also happy seeing that villagers are now accepting Noah, and Noah earned this himself.
"Thank you for protecting us," she said, looking up at him with a smile.
Noah smiled back at her, feeling proud of what they had accomplished. "We did it together," he said. "I couldn't have done it without you and the rest of the village's support."
Alia smiled back at him, happy that Noah is not too of himself after accomplishing this but still have a humble attitude. As they walked back to their homes, they knew that the future of the village looked brighter than ever before. With Noah and the others keeping watch, the villagers could sleep soundly at night, knowing that they were safe from harm.
