He brought Elisabeth to the basin and washed her face desperately for a couple of times. “You okay now? Let me see your face please” he asked her. His tone was polite and gentle. His hands never stopped from caressing her hair and back in an attempt to reassure her. “Do I want to drink some water?” he asked her while he turned around to order one from the couple of maids that stood behind him. His eyes conveyed all his worries and fears. He looked at her with so much care and love that the women there almost lost conscious under his influence. His touches were so heart melting under the shadows of his heart. His face sun brightly despite the coldness he wore around him.
