After that day, Susan met up with her friends ever so often. Some had to be away a few times so the hangout was incomplete but, she had fun and over time, lost her worries and anxiety.
She was so caught up with one thing or the other that she didn't have time to worry about Derek or the nonsense about her being a reincarnated witch. She was happy and relieved.
What was even more relieving was that her mom didn't ask her anything concerning Derek or why she hadn't returned yet. They fully supported her and we're glad to have her around.
"I don't want to miss this chance. Who knows how many times I'll get to see you after you get married!" Her mom said. "Your father doesn't have any problems with it either so, stay as long as you want, dear!"
Susan was glad that her family was very supportive and felt sad for keeping them in the dark but there was nothing she could do about it.
