Susan looked at Fallon and then at Luka. She had so many questions in her head but there was something in particular that she wanted to know.
She fiddled with her fingers and looked down. She felt anxious to know the truth because it would definitely impair their relationship.
The four of them sat silently, waiting for her response but the silence was really getting to them, making the atmosphere tense and awkward. Fallon decided to break the ice.
"Listen." She adjusted on her chair, leaning forward towards Susan.
Susan raised her head.
"I kinda get what you want to ask but before you do, I'd like to say something and believe me when I say I speak for all of us." They all nodded. "All those times we spent together," she placed her hands on Susan's fiddling hands and smiled, "...they were real."
"Yeah! Our friendship with you wasn't an act. We really did resonate with you and loved you with all our hearts." Luna nodded.
