The flower garden behind the villa was relatively small but looked beautiful and well-kept, with red geraniums and petunias scattered around and neatly trimmed shrubs. Cedar trees lined the pathway to the garden, adding to its cozy atmosphere. Despite the scorching sun, the air here was refreshingly cool, and Ezra often found himself sitting and relaxing in this spot.
He lounged on the long bench in the gazebo, with a book covering his face.
After reading a few pages, his eyelids felt a bit heavy, so he decided to close his eyes for a moment. The occasional breeze blew towards him, and the sound of rustling leaves filled the air, it's so soothing. He could easily drift off to sleep here, until the sound of a familiar man's voice greeted him, causing Ezra to pull the book away from his face. It was the gardener, whom he had come to know quite well despite only being here for a few days.
"Ah, Ezra, I see you're enjoying yourself here. Lucas is looking for you."
