The dining room, which usually had a few empty seats, was now full of visiting relatives.
The menu was more extensive than usual, undoubtedly because today was an important event, the anniversary of the establishment of the Winchens family. However, there were still some empty seats, probably because some families couldn't come - which was not so surprising, considering not all Winchens family members lived nearby. Many of them lived overseas, and sometimes they weren't able to come due to work-related interests that could not be ignored.
Lucas glanced at the empty seat beside him, which was usually occupied by his cousin Raphael, and sighed. It was typical for his cousin to rarely eat together in the dining room, even on ordinary days.
"Lucas... Where's Raphael?"
