"... Your hands, they're so warm."
Unexpectedly, Ezra's lips moved, and upon that, Raphael tightened his grip on Ezra's cheeks.
"Yeah... Are you feeling cold?"
Ezra nodded. "But your hands are really warm," he spoke softly, "... ... My ears are still ringing, but it's not noisy anymore."
"Well, that's good then. Stay here, I'll get you some warm water."
Raphael, though initially hesitant to leave this man alone for even a second, walked towards the kitchen to check the dessert box he brought, which was lying on the cold floor. He picked it up and felt relieved that its contents were still intact.
As he poured a glass of water, he remembered his conversation with Ezra's uncle on the phone. Moving house ... it seemed that living in this house was not good for Ezra's psychological well-being, and he did need to move until his condition improved.
